  • Epic epic epic!!!!!!

  • this song has something to do with her grandmother or something she was very strict and mean and she did what she wanted to do and did not care about what she thought of her

  • This is the best version of this song...

  • @ryanjames I think it's more about how she let boys have too much for too little, and all of the twisted, painful mistakes of adolescence that you make when you want to be wanted, and don't know how to respect yourself yet. It's powerful stuff!

  • Is this song about her being molested?

    and people are cheering?

  • @ryanjames2007 I think you're reading something into it that's not there. She was not molested.

  • @youwerewild she was raped when she was a young adult, after playing in a bar, however, i don´t think this song is specifcicaly about that as "me and a gun" is. but sure some of that pain and general concept is there as well

  • i never grow tired of this song when it's played live. much love

  • i just love her! she's amazing!

  • amazing song!

  • the guitarist is using normal delay with a volume pedal probably a sustainer driver too.

  • unbelievable.....

  • She is sooo fucking crazy talented.

  • Love this performance so much....

  • what kind of technique the guitar player is using in the begining

    some kind of pedal?

  • Probably a volume pedal - you strike the note with the pedal down (no volume), then bring the volume up on the note. I'm sure there are other effects that he's using too - at least a distortion pedal, probably a chorus, and who knows what else.

  • This is my favorite performance of Precious Things. Long live the way Tori Amos was.

  • I can not get enough of Tori!

  • amazing....a jewel of performance.....she is a friggin' goddess....

  • WoW what an amazing perforamce maybe the best i have ever seen.

  • jewel's goddess

  • yay for sparkly aprons

  • matt chamberlain on drums= brilliant.

  • Thanks... I wondered who that was :)

  • I do like Matt Chamberlain quite a bit...but Manu Katche's work on "Boys for Pele" is brilliant, off-the-wall, unique--really perfect for that album.

  • one of my all time fav Tori tracks, love this version

  • i have a personal 'connection' with this song that makes me laugh.

came to school in grade 3 i came to school in a huge poofy peach party dress, mistaken that dress up day was the next day.

and like tori said 'no one dared to one cared to to tell me' the girls all stared at me like i was a joke, i cried so hard.

  • If there is such a thing as reincarnation, can I come back as Tori's piano stool please LOL

Awesome version of this classic Tori track.

  • She definitely outdid herself at Sessions. For that I will be eternally grateful. Thanks aereoflash for posting the performance!

  • wow, way more dramatic acoustics than the radio edit. very good. thanks for posting!

  • Orgasmical. Thanks Tori

  • Where R my shoes? Where are my shoes!!!! This song rock better than Pink Floyd(i love Pink Floyd)and any other rock stars! Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

  • i need this on DVD! i don't need WTSF, that's pure, she's a goddess, she's one of the best live performers alive... ah, i just love her.

  • I dont think I can breathe. I cant close my eyes. This was amaizing

  • I don't know of any other music performer that is willing to "let go" and actually become the song. Her live performances are so powerful. Any of her music for that matter, but especially "live" performances. Thanks for the post.

  • Absolutely Stunning.
