  • i fly 767s to larnaca and back.beautiful plane, lots of room great flight.point is ,i think they are getting on a bit.will they be replaced by 777s or a321s?

  • Yeah first was the sound of the gear retracting and then the flaps being set to o. I must say i have flown on alot of aircraft and heard the gear being retracted but never have i ever heard that sound before. Maybe BA should invest in a bottle of WD40! Great video by the way.

  • BA needs to revamp its old and tattered fleet of aircraft..767s, old 747s, the 777s. they need to upgrade the interiors because they are rubbish and old, and need to revamp staff...idiots who always like to go on strike...they should sack those who want to go on strike..theres plenty of other professionals who would be willing to take their seats

  • Hyvä Jutta!

  • Yeah that is the sound of the flaps, They differ from Airbus and Boeing, usually the small airbus has no flap sounds.

  • lovley sound of the landing gear doors opening, the gear in transit and the gear locking into place its cool! Lovely video 5* 767 is an excellent aircraft.

  • how old r the ba 767s.will they be changing them?what will they replace them with?

  • yea those sounds are mint! btw i think i see the crashed 777 between 1:16-1:18 ?

  • Love the sound of those engines!!!

BTW can u remember wat seat that was?

  • Yeah. Gotta love the engine sounds. And such a beautiful airport!

I think it was seat 24A.

  • I wish BA would buy A330's, A350's and 767-400's alongside their 787's!

  • what is that sound after takeoff

  • I think it's the gears retracting...

  • where do ba fly 767s to in europe?

i no frankfurt thats it =/

  • I know they fly them to Stockholm Arlanda daily.

  • BA also flies 767's to Athens, Rome, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, Zurich occasionally, Geneva, Barcelona and Madrid

  • thanks alot man!

    i might do frankfurt tho!:D

  • and also every day to larnaca since ever :))

  • @alekos84 yeah, totally forgot about that route. Athens has been the only one with relevence to me so I sorta forgot some of the others

  • ba 767 to switzerland on august 15th. BA r epic

  • 767's have a good climb rate, but 777 beets it that extra bit!!

    I fly 777-200ER for BA

  • 767 has a really good climb rate

  • I love travelling too and I'm traveling to Egypt in 27 \ 7 \ 2009

I will record the takeoff and landing

    Takeoff : 11AM

    Landing : 2 PM

  • i love travelling can`t wait till june 18th but i get really scared when they have an annocment that there is some slight wind and the whole plane starts shaking althought i have spent all my life travelling in planes i still get scared

  • wow the 767 climbed really quickly!

cant wait till may 22 going to nice with BA 767 to watch monaco grand prix gnna be gr8:D

  • Cool :)

    It's so nice to see on a take-off :)

Exellent that you have uploaded this to youtube :D

    Thank you :D

  • The sounds are so cool !!! Was there many on the flight??

  • I think around 60 % in Economy. The cabin in the back was much less crowded than the middle one. I don't think there was one single Club Europe passenger though. On the segment ARN-LHR I flew Club Europe and I can really recommend it. Lot's of champagne and good food! And it only cost like £25 more.

  • Did anyone notice the Emirates A380 at 0:51......?

  • i know i didnt.

  • I did because I read the description.

  • i fucking love taking off its brilliant such a buzz =D

  • It seems BA isint the nly airline, because AA is there, how cute on its bigger than you BA planes, wierd.

  • What are you talking about?

  • yeah the 767 is very loud.. but i just love al those little sounds. :)

indeed the flaps u hear and what u hear after takeoff is indeed the gear. its the electric engine pulling them up

  • hydraulic pumps powered by electric motors....not engines.

  • electric engine/motor is the same.. but whatever motors then
