i try to get my students to improvise and listen to everything they can, sometimes it works. most of the time it dosent. and then you end up watching 499 out of 500 videos that shouldnt be posted on youtube because the player is either a poser or forgot to tune his guitar...

The Crate Flexwave is good for metal. I don't like it cause thats not my style. It sounds very processed, like your going right into a computer instead of an amp. But it's great for metal, and it's only like 500 dollars.
