    Men den "kalibrering" sikrer kun at termometeret viser rigtigt ved 212 F. Det er ikke nogen garanti for at det også vil vise helt rigtigt ved 0 eller 400 F - det afhænger af hvor præcist bimetallets udvidelse/sammentrækning svarer til skalaens.

    Btw. in Denmark we call this this temperature scale 'Fjumreheit" which could be translated to "Fumbleheit".
