1. Bubba did touch the wall behind him with his hips.

2. How high the hands are at the finish has nothing to do with the arc, since the ball has already been hit it dosn't matter if the hands are so much "up". It's more important to swing past parallel in that case...

At the top of the backswing his clubface is actually closed in relation to his left forearm... If his arm position was lower (flatter arm plane) at the top of the backswing his clubface would be pointing more up at the sky and in a more obvious closed position. I think it just looks squareer becaus the arm position is so high.
