  • Just tried making these, and they are delicious!

  • Hello! Im always making this cookies and I absolutely love them!! I would recommend only 10-12 minutes in the oven and those will be so chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside!! Thank you so much for sharing, I'm also a chef, greetings from Mexico!

  • Look good.... Your yummy sounds are the best!! :)

  • Yum

  • This looks so simple :O Thanks!! Too bad I ran out of cinnamon :(

  • how do i make these cookies softer? do i cook it less, change the egg, add milk, or what?

  • @mrengler1 They're crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, you can't really make them much softer. Give them a go, you'll love them ;)

  • @mrengler1 cover them with a damp rag

  • @mrengler1 You can also store them uncovered for a couple of days in your pantry. They will absorb the moisture in the air and go a little more chewy. I do this with lots of hard cookies.

  • @mrengler1 Hi!! I've tried many recipes for the snickerdoodles, and I've found out that those can be so chewy with only 10 minutes in the oven! hope it helps:) (dont wait until they're brown)

  • You can easily keep the sugared-dough-balls in the fridge for days if not weeks. I used to make a big batch, bake cookies as needed and whenever the munchies came over me, pull out half a dozen doughballs, put them in the oven and hey, presto! Ten minutes later it was warm snickerdoodle time!

  • I'm a total noob so I'm gonna ask this; why do you have to beat eggs 'one at a time'? Or like, 'fold in half of the mixture and then fold the other half'? What's the main difference?

  • @frustwisted Beating in eggs one at a time lessens the chance of lumps in the batter. It also makes it much easier to combine the ingredients. Same with "fold in half". If you add ingredients in small batches it makes mixing much easier and you get a far better result.

  • Request: Peanut Brittle

  • GAH ! I said I'd only watch this till my episode loaded but I wanna watch like 6+ more of your videos T_T

  • you have the perfect voice for televised product advertising shows, like new appliances or skin products :)

  • and its 8 minutes and 175 degress celcius

  • never knew that was many sizes of eggs its not like hes using ostrich eggs

  • Awesome recipe!

  • This is my all time favorite cookie! Looks divine!

  • I've never seen eggs with such dark yolks! Mine are allows a lot more yellow

  • what kind of eggs are those?

  • @eyesack9 Chicken Eggs ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow LOL I laughed at your reply... maybe i just laughed at the question & then how you chose to reply :P

  • 2:28 "roll the ball" *giggles*

  • Selamat Hari Raya theadorejespert :D

  • Can you use All Purpose flour instead of Self Rising Flour?

  • @candykiss435 Yes, just make sure you add baking powder as I said in the video ;)

  • can i leave out the cinnamon sugar and add something else like powdered sugar?

  • @theadorjespert It would be better to use normal sugar, as powdered sugar wouldn't have the same effect ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow alright i'll try it after Hari Raya!

  • ya i think there also called sugar cookies right? i have there during chirstmas time there really good

  • Salt because it's too sweet? How about less sugar?

  • Haha the intro is funny xD

  • You make everything look good!

  • I just LOVED the way you laughed after your intro! :D That was just awesome! Gonna try a gluten free version for this btw, thank you :)

  • I want to try and make oatmeal cookies. Could I use the same mixture that you have used here and simply add maybe one cup of oats?

  • In the recipie I use, you put a little bit of yeast in the mixture, which makes the cookie take on an almost dumpling-like shape, and is really soft and fluffy in the middle.

  • I'm on a sugarfree diet :(

  • thanks for sharing :-) ... I was thinking of what to bring to a birthday party, that didn't take much energy to make... and would make quite a bit, thanks for the idea! I hope you have a lovely weekend. <3

  • About 25 years ago I found a cowboy cookbook in San Francisco which had a recipe for Snickerdoodles and have been making them ever since. They are truly a winner with everyone I bake them for.

  • Snickerdoodles go really good with snickerdoodles! :)

  • Great recipe dude!

  • salted butter is regular at your country. i

  • can i make these using a microwave and if yes how long shud i leave them on there using the convection mode and how many degrees of heat

  • @MsKijaro No, you need to bake these in an oven :)

I like offsetting sweetness with some salt as well.

    This looked really yummy!

  • Please upload another bloopers video! :)

  • hahaha, why did you chuckle at the word snickerdoodles?! :P

  • Your cooking videos make me happy for some reason. And hungry...

  • dude, whats the point of using unsalted butter when u added salt anyway??

  • @Sooves A pinch of salt is much less than the amount of salt in regular butter ;)

  • Wow so nice :D Want some NOW xD

  • I don't know what is snicker and doodles, but I know what is coockie...hahaha

    Xoxo from Brazil

  • I exactly halfed the recipe, and my dough wasn't stiff. It was somewhat whipped looking. does anyone know what happened?

  • I wonder why snickers? i thought they would have been in the ingredients love your videos as always xxx

  • Snickerdoodles are my all time favorite cookie. I've always flavored mine with cream of tartar. Maybe that's an American thing?

  • Yummo :-P

  • Hehehw doodles *snickers*

  • Instead of addig sugar wouldnt salted butter balance it out the same way

  • i always use (powdered) cream of tartar, about 2 tsp. and shortening. cuts down the sweetness

  • i thought you are gonna use snickers in this recipe since its 'snicker'doodles XD

  • my favorite cookie ever!!!!

I'm so excited to make these today!

    look good though.

  • You are not a genteman! You tried one of the decicious cookies, without offering one to me :(

  • Anything with the word "doodle" in it must be grand.

  • I chuckled and said "Snickerdoodles" to myself just before you did... IT'S LIKE YOU READ MY MIND!

  • You only made this video so you could say "doodle" didn't you

  • @junkienet *blushes* Guilty!!!

  • xD the add beside this was lose 9 pounds in one week, is that how much a snickerdoodle is? O.o

  • *use unsalted butter because this is a sweet recipe*

*puts in a little bit of salt*

    logic? =D

  • @Juniorwazhomeless A pinch of salt is a lot less than the amount of salt in a regular butter ;)

  • So I guess back home we call these cinnamon sugar biscuits? (I say back home as I'm an Aussie in Singapore) isn't it funny how people assume u live near someone just because you are in the same country! Lol. I always thought snicker doodles had snickers in them. How disappointing! Lol(although I love cinnamon biccies)
