  • Cool

  • also indian village...

  • I worked for reality exceutives and my main area was detroit and this vid is no lie there are some huge houses in detroit. Boston edison is very nice. We had a 7000sqf home for sale there it was or is the largest house in the district or even detroit.

  • the interiors of all those mansions are probably horrible

  • oh my god, i cant believe these homes are selling for 5 or 6 thousand dollars. these would be over a million where i live

  • Thanks for showing the positive aspects of Detroit! -cheers

  • KEEP IT UP BRO! love detroit's hidden beautiful architecture and homes.

  • Nice to hear positive things about Detroit! I'm looking to move there! It's boreing here in South Florida.

  • Nice to hear positive things about Detroit! I'm looking to move there!

  • Man I would've loved to see this neighborhood in it's prime.

  • Seriously,. I wouldn't want one for free. Nice looking homes though. Too Cold there..too much crime.

  • Very odd that the low prices havent attracted people back. If you run an IT company, you might as well move it to detroit and enjoy cheap real estate prices...

  • you should get your real estate licence

  • @jessedean87 yeah, i was thinking about that, rather have a TV show, LOL, thanks for watching

  • THANKS Dave(camera man) for taking a good snap of my home for YouTube..I purchased my home in the Boston Edison Historic District (BoEd) two years ago, during all the foreclosure who-ha; house was very low-price because of the economy, but very beautifully preserved with all original character intact, best of all there was no major problems only cosmetic, all elec plumbing and roofs brand new. house is 5,900sqft heat bill monthly $800,great place to live @ the center of Det no crime. taxes 7000

  • @jacobm745 very beautiful home, I'm glad that we were able to show these types of home, I have viewers from all over the world ask me to do a video in this area, I'll tell Dave you said thanks, he was having one of his famous moments, LOL, but we got through it, thanks for watching The Shea Show

  • Nice homes but unfortunately the facts are facts about Detroit crime. I don't care how nice the house is. When you buy a house, you just don't buy the house but you also buy the neighborhood, city and surrounding areas. I wish I could move one of those houses to Arizona.

  • @ProvidentTools “The facts are the facts” what facts are you talking about? The city of Detroit is approximately 150 square miles large. Granted the city has more than its share of impoverished neighborhoods, but that does not mean that the entire city is like that. Are you really that naïve to think that the city doesn’t have any good neighborhoods?

  • Amen brother!

  • The houses in Boston-Edison are beautiful, but they're also very old. A lot of the electrical and plumbing isn't up to code. Plus, there are no grocery stores in the area (other than small, expensive mom & pop places). Drive down the street to Woodward Ave. from B-E and see how quickly the neighborhood changes. Try and get any services - pizza places won't deliver in most of Detroit, dial 911 and most times you'll get a busy signal.

  • Word of advice, you should mention exactly where the homes are located in Detroit.

  • @millsd1988 my bad, I normally do, I thought i did, this is the boston edison historic district, two blocks west of Woodward Ave

  • @proshea01 not a problem!!

  • Ive Lived over here, the DTE bill in the dead of winter is 1000.00 a month or more for sure

  • hes not lying most american cities have bad neighborhoods

  • Those houses would have taxes over $20,000 per year. Heat $1,000 per month, Insurance $5,500 per year for Michigan Basic. Then after all that expence where are you going to send your kids to school. These kids are not in the Detroit pablic Schools or even in Detroit private schools. The kids would have to comute to Detroit Country Day or Cranebrock andthat would be $40,000 per kid. Man my family can not afford to live in the excellent getto.

  • @006535971 Indeed. However, I went to Cranbrook , and it's around 30K a year when I went.

  • Thanks 4 the video. Ilove the Boston-Edison part of the city. I hope to buy a house on Longfellow next year, hopefully.

  • I find that Toronto is scarey and that Detroit is friendly. I can't quite describe it, but the feeling I get when I am in Detroit is uplifting.

  • aww thanks we love the positive remarks
