  • She says the same thing that almost all addicts say, " I can quit anytime I want". I know about 4 guys who are all addicted to weed and they constantly say "I can quit anytime I want" and really do talk about quitting, yet never do it. And I have known these guys for almost 5 years, they still say the same thing over and over again but never take any action...

  • "Sudden sniffing death...?"

  • It's always the poor kids with the religious nut parents...

  • You like having an adrenalin rush? Go to a theme park. Seriously.

  • Look I'm sixteen, go to high school in Greenwich, CT

My friends and I drink, and smoke weed sometimes.

And that were it starts, I watch as my friends turn into people they hate as they keep trying new drugs.

I have known this kid my whole life, him and I had played Lacrosse our whole lives together he started to smoke weed in eighth grade then by sophomore year he is doing LSD.

He was rank 3rd in the country for goalie. Now he is in rehab. No lacrosse. No school.

    No future.

  • It is bad that she is huffing, but what really annoy's me is that they totally ignore what she has to say.

Yeah she should stop huffing, it's a bad thing, but at an age where you want to rebel to be heard and everybody keeps ignoring you.. They should listen to her more than she can actually stop.

  • take her to court on her birthday so she can get emancipated and then kick her out of your house.

  • she's really pretty

  • "an answer to prayer" ....the parents are at fault. No one listens to the girl. Sad...if the parents don`t wisen up, she will be gang banged by the football team, and every rapper in high school. Believe it.

  • It is always the strict religious parents...they make "forbidden" things seem fun. It is not the kid`s fault. If my parents wouldn`t even let me watch SpongeBob, I would want to numb myself into a coma. THE PARENTS NEED THE HELP.

  • Shes actually very intelligent and I feel bad that they want to keep her in rehab for another year. That would only make her dislike her parents even more and go "crazy" once she's a legal adult.

  • you never get an addict to stop being an addict without them admiting to themselves that they have an addiction, help is useless its a fifty fifty chance in any addiction that you will get unaddicted

in this case the girl dont even think she is addicted and she says she have no withdrawal syptoms so they will keep telling her she have a problem she will keep telling them she dont. and she will be stuck in that rehab place till she either lies or get convinced that her perspective is wrong.

  • just because you are older and have children doesnt make you a good parent, if there is no reasoning behind the parenting then its bad parenting, and the kid is right to disobey.

you distort your reality every day with coffein or nicotine, that said you should really not "distort" with something that makes you unhealthy, unless that was the purpose.

also: the parents here are dumb but right, the kid is dumb and right, and dr phil is smart and ingorant. and partly right.

  • Just for the record, I've gone to church with Hannah since we were like, 4. Trust me, it's not her parents. It's been her all the way. Her parents are some of the greatest people i've ever met, I feel really bad for them.

  • im smokin a blunt while im watchin this

  • @LadyJ6190 YOu RETARD!!! RETARD!!! HERE IT< HERE IT!!! You could DIE!!?!!? don't u realize!?!?!?

  • And I didnt think druggies came dumber then meth heads but ...what was it they called them Huffers? well they take first prize for stupid! yeah lets sniff the industrail grade chemicals! honestly people come on now

  • when u say no dear never do this, this and that...the child automatically wants to do it...but when you explain to the child the dangers of doing this this and that and then say "it's ur choice" it usually ends up better but evvery sitch is different

  • @kbredajgreenlameco In this day and age there's no reason kids wouldn't know that drugs are dangerous. Kids certainly know the dangers, they simply choose to do it anyway.

  • shes a pretty ugly dumb girl

  • 4:06 lol i thought he said "carren and randal's sniffteen year old..."

  • I noticed the monotone sound of the girl's voice. Sounds like huffing is already taking its toll on her. I pray that she gets help and sticks with the program.

  • wait, why are the audience clapping when SOMEONE IS EVEN GOING TO A REHAB FOR A YEAR in the first place. I get what she was talking about. I didn't do drugs or anything but i didn't study for my exams when i was her age and at that point of time i really could not get myself to study so i told myself that whatever happens i will not regret it

  • @primmese why WOULDN'T they clap when someone is going for help? That's a wonderful thing and if it works, it could save her life!

  • i understand what she's saying actually. it may not be smart what she's doing, but she understands the situation. however, the adults don't understanding what she's telling them. they're talking past each other really.

  • Saying to a kid the word ''no'' and ''don't'' just gets them more curious about it, instead said the bad things that could happen.

  • Stupid, selfish little girl! She needs to grow up and take responsibility for her actions. "Die young and have fun" - selfish! I loved the look on her face when they said she can stay there for up to another year.

  • She actually seems really intelligent to me...

  • This is actually mental! There is next to nothing wrong with this girl and these fucking stupid adults are making her out to be some kind of junkie on the edge of death. Let her go home for fuck sake, she isn't an addict! Come to Scotland and you will see real drug addicts!

  • I'm a psychologist. this isn't my particular field but Dr Phil while getting the parents the help that they need to keep their daughter in rehab (which is what she needs), is setting her recovery back. He's pushing her too hard and being too harsh, when clearly she's not mentally at the right stage yet. Also I have no idea why her doctor signed off on this

  • Dumb bitch. Turn 16, get a job, buy some weed. >_>

  • She's a whiny little bitch, she can ruin her like when she's 18

  • @PauseBroke Her speech is all effed up too

  • Its like running across a minefield, and not stepping on a mine, and then go, i will keep runing back and fourth because its a rush and nothing happened the first time so gee, nothings gonna happen. I got expertise in minefields, i live in bosnia :)

  • This girl is stupid.

  • ok this girl is definitely not confident, if she was truly "fine with herself" she would NOT be huffing....she'd be confident enough to say, "i don't need to harm myself to have a good time."

  • her voice is really fucking annoying

  • Dumb ignorant bitch my friend died from huffing, if I knew he was doing that I would have stopped him. You have no idea how lucky you have it.

  • My parents are so strict i dont agree with drugs but i agree that i want to do my own thing

  • I agree with the girl about death. I would rather die young having fun than die old being bored

  • @ScarletTheAngel Me too, and thats how close friends of mine feel too. I can't stand when people try to control others lives

  • Mmmm I like drugs I need a 35 pound boulder of cocaine before 12 am

  • He nasally taking is starting to grate my nerves. Moreso than her assuming nothing bad will ever happen to her. How many times have we heard these same lines?

  • fkn fat piece of shit americans saying drugs are unhealthy.

whats the difference they all die from junkfood anyways, why not have some fun with drugs.

  • @SuperNoobLamer You're living up to your name. :]

  • @SuperNoobLamer The rate at which they kill is different, dumbass.

  • @TanimeArtist haha fat american thinks drugs are worse than macdonalds. dumbass lool

  • Comment removed

  • I notice a lot of my friends who do drugs and drink have really strict parents. To be honest I've never gotten grounded and my parents are the farthest thing from strict yet I would never smoke, drink or do drugs and have never kissed a guy and I'm 16. This isn't always the case, though.

  • @stewielove101 i agree, my dad was very lax, didn't put restrictions on me, and i never smoked, only drank when i was legal. i think forcing them to believe one hypocrisy pushes them towards it.

  • @stewielove101 I totally agree. I was raised by my single mother who have always been lenient but set guidelines so I can make my own decisions. I think it's the trust that did it. Telling kids no, they hear yes. I see a lot of this happeneing when parents try to force religion, and i mean force like this girl had to go through, and when they watch everything single step and that's where things went wrong.

  • @stewielove101 I had strict parents and never had these problems either too.

  • @stewielove101 Sounds like our parents had a pretty similar style..and I'm even older.

  • There is something these (and most parents in general) and Dr Phil just dont get: some people do drugs for fun. thats it. no other reason. no trauma, nothing. And him asking her all these stupid questions: what would you do as a parent, do you know it kills you etc etc its just pointless!

  • As intelligent as she is...she is stupid as fuck.

  • Her parents say she's intelligent I beg to differ. She's sassy to. Stupid girl.

  • she def. has a problem...

  • that girl hight right now!! lol

  • look at her pupils when he confronts her lol. she's pissed.

  • Really? I said that because of the way they were coming down on the parents. We do listen, the kids need to do the same though.as an adult or parent if u dont understand that, well then u might be the kind of adult who just adds to the problem.

  • She would never get emancipated. No judge would ever grant emancipation to a teen in a (seemingly) functional family. Not to mention, she has no job, instead a drug problem and a rehab track record.

  • MahDeerHunter so u like to robotrip? Hah love it

  • @CosmicKush420

I do. I once did coriciden almost constantly. I did it every day for a year but now I have stopped almost entirely. It was fuckin up my brain but I must say it was amazing. I got a lot of fun times and some good insight. Whats the most you've done? I did 42 triple c's one time. haha. That is my drug of choice. I don't use anything but coriciden by the way.

  • @MahDeerHunter tripple c's do not affect your brain... it burns holes in your stomach....

  • @kubabe93 Triple c's don't affect your brain..... I guess I've been imagining getting completely fucked up for the last 2 years. Or maybe my stomach has been the source of my consciousness the whole time and I just figured it out.

Anyway, are you a doctor? Because a doctor told me that I likely have holes in my brain and he told me that a year ago. I couldn't pay for a CAT scan and I really have no interest in seeing it. It does mess uo your stomach but you know nothing.

  • God damn, this girl is so stupid. Inhalants is one of the worst things ever to use to gewt high. Most inhalants do not even get you high because of the chemicals like most drugs and instead you get the feelings largely from asphixiation. They say it is the cheapest way but thats not even true. The cheapest high is dextromethorphan, a box of off brand coriciden is only 2 dollars so thats cheaper. This is coming from a major DXM addict. All of these drugs are horrible.

  • Hannah really seems to be pretty normal for the most part. And she is really cute to i cant believe shes 15

  • spongebob is a good show and whats so bad about it that her parents wont let her watch it

  • Shes SO lucky her parents love her so much.

  • This girl is my best friend. She is an amazing person. Look at you. Sitting on your ass watching Doctor Phil on the internet and judging them. You don't know the whole story. She used to be into harder drugs, then she met me and I helped her get clean. Her old friends got mad that she wasn't hanging out at their drug parties anymore and told her mom it was me who got her into it. Her mom forbid her from seeing me, so she started using again. She is better now. Don't be so quick to judge.

  • I don't think it's the religious upbringing that leaves kids unable to handle drugs and alcohol (and I've known religious kids who simply couldn't). It's a matter of abstinence vs. responsibility. Don't tell your kid "never drink/have sex/whatever", rather say "here's what happens when you do X; when you're old enough, IF you choose to do X, do it responsibly... and here's how."

  • @shiftyjake Kids know what happens. They choose to do it anyway. What's the solution then?

  • @Heralde8 Huh. How'd my comment get up there?

If someone knows the consequences and chooses to engage in X, then it's their decision. Once the kid's too big to pick up, there's little you can legally do to stop him from leaving the house, y'know? Just keep in mind that illegal drug use in the US has been dropping since the 70's, possibly making the "millennials" the most drug-responsible generation in US history -- and not because they're abstinent. They try it and decide they don't like it.

  • @shiftyjake It is their decision but it's a decision that affects the innocent people around them.

  • @Heralde8 So? Your decisions do the same thing. So do mine and everyone else's.

What's your argument? That people have free will? Well, I guess we agree then!

  • @shiftyjake The average person's decisions won't result in violence and abuse. But those are often par for the course when it comes to drug addiction.

  • @Heralde8 I'd argue that most addiction isn't violent (and neither is violence always motivated by addiction). And it's not limited to kids... which is why teaching responsibility is so important - a kid takes those lessons into adulthood (and college, where he's probably gonna try all that stuff he was afraid to try when he was living at home).

Again, I don't understand your argument. Addiction is bad? Agreed. Violence is bad? Agreed.

  • @shiftyjake The likelihood of violence does go up with addiction, or at best negligent accidents such as drunk drinking which often leads to death of innocent people.

My argument is that it's not enough just to teach kids that drugs are harmful. Kids do know this already, they just do it anyway. The "just educate them" method is flawed. We have to get to the root of why kids turn to drugs and it's not just because their parents wouldn't let them. It's rarely that simple.

  • @Heralde8 (1) Not all drugs are harmful. And I can tell you why I tried drugs. Weed: curiosity; cigarettes: cool factor; alcohol: fun. Because I knew the difference between these milder drugs and, say, cocaine, I turned the coke down when it was offered to me (and it was).

My argument is that a parent can no more isolate their kid from curiosity, cool, or fun than they can stop the sun from rising. So education is key when the kid is inevitably offered the choice to have sex or take drugs.

  • @Heralde8 (2) Yes, kids do try drugs. But with each passing generation, fewer and fewer people choose to try them twice. Clearly, they're not abstaining. My generation is generally pretty well informed about drugs and sex, and we're the most responsible users yet.

  • @Heralde8 (3) And finally (I promise), I never claimed that kids turn to drugs just because their parents wouldn't let them. You'd have to be a pretty crappy parent to get your kid drunk. But then again, my first drug experience was when my dad let me try just one sip of his beer. It was so bad, I didn't drink beer again til I was 25. I don't care why people try drugs for the first time. I just want them to be responsible about it (and about everything else they do, really).

  • she's pretty but DAMN STUPID

  • what a fucking annoying voice she has...she is talking from her nose, wonder WHYYYYYY...

  • @41gagavision Make your own video, put yourself on the internet, then criticise.

  • @Georgeisabong I notice you HAVE made your own video, so I guess I take that back.

  • She seems like an average girl that just doesn't want things like religion pushed on her. I hate people pushing religion on other people, it's gotta be one of the worst things in the world.

  • I am guessing these comments are mostly by kids, thier is nothing wrong with the parents, there is alot wrong with the fact this girl is huffing, abd the fact u guys seem to think its ok or cool. People die from this. Your job as a parent is to protect your child from harm. If you dont get that thier us something wrong with you. I work as a nurse and emt I have seen kids sure from this, its not worth throwing your life away, its not worth the pain you cause your family. Its a waste.

  • @SammyJoe28 speaking as an adult, maybe it is about time parents and other adults like you started listening to what our children are saying instead of making comments like "I am guessing these comments are mostly by kids" and dismissing them.

  • are u stupid dr phill? damn those questions she has a certain reason for doing it and thats her parents its their fault...

  • I think people are being quite harsh on the parents...They want to protect their child. Being too strict is in my oppinion a fault, which seems to be the cause of the problem; but it would be more of a fault if her parents didn't at least try help her get over huffing....after all her well fair is their responisibilty.

  • JESUS CHRIST!!! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS GIRL!!!

I DID DRUGS IN SCHOOL TOO AND I STOPPED!!!

These are just terrible parents. You cant just slap a bunch of rules in someones face like that, you have to give them freedom, they still have to clean their room and do their laundry and homework, but let them do what they want otherwise. They probably could have just told her to stop huffing. They just need to respect her a little more, let her watch sponge bob for fuck sakes.

  • It's because her parents are so fucking religious. Religion ruins everything

  • I think Dr. Phil is twisting her words.

  • I still blame the parents... and dr. phil.

  • make her stay with the hot sauce mom.

  • Dr. Hughs sounds a little bit like Dr. Schreber from a movie called Dark City. He is a really cool character!

  • emacipate? what?

  • Her parents were too strict, not even allowed to watch sponge bob. Of course she is going to rebel to the extreme if their parented her by extreme restrictions.

  • people must be pretty fucking bored to even do drugs

  • lol just give her some weed and she will forget all about Computer cleaner

  • Sure- she has the mind set not to do it.

So she doesn't see wat is the next step.

If you don't understand why rules are there..you will just follow them till "nobody" can tell you what to do.

I used to claim my friends in a strict family would just rebel....not true. It's not having the wisdom to know why the rules are set.

In north america we have such a rich life to be able to make excuses for our actions/to shift blame.

I may think my home is strict, but not know there is 1 that is way more

  • I really doubt that her parents oppress her enough that she needs to misbehave to get a thrill.

I don't even get that...how does misbehaving give you any sort of positive feeling? It just makes me feel bad.

  • @EarthlyMaidenLita Well you seem like a smart girl, this girl....well, it seems the sniffing has killed too many of her brain cells. It's tragic, let's hope she wakes up, cleans up, and grows up.

  • She's such an idiot, obviously all her neurons have been killed...

  • @MakeupHairTech

The thing is when we take drugs or rationalize our bad behaviour over a longer period of time...we lose the inner sense between right and wrong :)

    Specially with brain cell damage.

  • she's so calm

  • she can "misbehave" a different, less harmful way.

  • "sudden sniffing death"- very original

  • @suprofly hahahha my thoughts exactly =]

  • the doctor keeps SAYING she has all the signs of dependence blahblah, that may be true, but she doesnt need 4 times the length of her drug use in treatment!! seems like her parents need to grow up and let her make big girl choices now you are making things worse

  • when i was 15 i was doing all kinds of drugs everyday and getting perfect grades.... now today im totally fine and happy i learned from MY MISTAKES... putting a person away for a year in hopes that they will turn out HOW YOU WANT is insanity!

  • god, I really would love to just see how her parents would react if she had actual drugs (pills, coke or joints) in her room. Not saying I want to see her one them, just JESUS, these parents would have a heart attack

  • @EmmaB3545 agreeed

  • A whole year in rehab?!? Do these fucktards not realize that by the time she gets out, she will have spent 6% of her life in what is essentially a comfortable prison? And for what crime? Nothing worse than inhaling compressed air.

I'm very grateful to have reached adulthood without suffering the same insanity that is afflicting these people.

  • @cotss2012 agreed no wonder so many teens get high

  • RIP

  • lol I think what she's trying to get in this vid is air dusters arent like heroin or meth, which are very very addictive, she was just bored with her boring parents and decided to fuck around with stupid air dusters, so yeah since you embarassed her this much I think she'll quit.

  • They need to implement commando parenting.

  • She's still an idiot.

How is killing yourself slowly fun?

  • The only way they won't do it is if they are locked up. There is your answer.

  • This girl is pretty; she has her choice to be be well-educated, find a good job and marry with a lovely man instead of getting wasted on drugs and worst man.

  • Damn, she should've learned to lie.

  • you can have any degree you want .. but it does not take a degree for you to know that some ways of parenting do not work.. dr phil needs to get off his high horse with his stupid degree.. this girl is right about " i think i know what works for me and what does not " let her experience she will get over it when she gets older..and she is right it does not look like she is really heard .. she seems ok .i mean ive seen bad cases and this is not one of them

  • @people1suck1 at 15? She really knows whats good for her... at 15?! At 15 you can barely keep up with high school or junior high. She might look older... but she's 15, keep that in mind. Let her experience? Oh yeah, because brain cells grow back, don't they? by the time she's my age, if she continues like that and isn't dead, she'll have as much brain capacity as my keyboard...

  • @akissy .... i came to North America by myself .. i raised myself but before that i was in a household that was happy yet taught me from a very young age to be mature.. if you at 15 do not know how to make smart decisions then perhaps that means you are growing slow .. i at 15 was holding a full time job and was very responsible.. i was paying rent and feeding and clothing myself at 18 it is all about how you are raised period. American Kids vs Other Countries big difference in growing up..

  • @people1suck1 At 15 nobody who is "normal" makes the right decisions. They ALL make mistakes, because they don't think. I was raised as an adult, that's why I know the difference. And you seemed to have been raised as one as well. You can't compare YOUR situation to somebody else's: yours is not normal, and don't get offended because it's the truth. You aren't normal, of course you don't think normally. This girl is a normal girl, like any other brat. She's idiotically rebellious like any 15 yo.

  • Oooooh he's not interrested in seeing why she does drugs, just sending the same old message "Drugs are bad. We are at war with drugs. Drugs are bad."

  • The girl might be right when she says she has no problem quiting drugs.

What they should address is that she might have a problem with "not trying drugs"

    This should be addressed.

It is elementary: what pushes an individual to try AND STAY ON drugs, sense and feeling altering substances.

  • i really dont get teenage rebellion. i never had it growing up and i pretty much raised myself. i went thru the D.A.R.E program and saw what drugs did to my brother so i promised myself i wouldnt ever do drugs. hell i didnt even drink til i was 22......

  • This girl just has a big mouth.. and instead of helping her to quit drugs, they should help her to fix that nasty attitude of hers!!!

  • i've been through that stage when i did things just to upset my parents. but my parents did a great job getting me to survive age 18. once i was there, i realised that life wasnt just bout me. 'i do whatever i wanna do' is a false freedom. i learn to be considerate bout others. she hasnt understood that she's making her parents sad n she could use her time better by helping people around her rather than damaging herself. she'll get there.

  • in my opinion, the parents should have gave her more rights and she wouldn't feel she needed to rebel

  • @SirSeanald So when do you draw the line in giving her freedom. She has proven that she doesnt like the restrictions and that she cant controll herself or be responsible by huffing.

  • @SirSeanald Exactly. I have tons of freedom with my parents. They pretty much let me go anywhere anytime with anyone, Therefore i'd feel like a dick to do anything against them, since they do so much. If it was the other was around, then i'd feel like going against what they say.

  • @SirSeanald true.. I could do whatever the hell I wanted when I was younger I had no rules and I was never grounded in my life. I never once did drugs... all I ever did was weed and drink.. I never felt the need too do anything else.

  • @raidersonlyblog "I never once did drugs" .. weed is a drug idiot... so is alcohol lol.

  • @SirSeanald yeah that doesn't always work. Sometimes when parents give their kids a lot of rights the kids will take advantage of that.

  • @SirSeanald I disagree, to an extent though because if you give them to many rights and allow them to do what they want, they WILL feel as though they have a right to everything. Being 13, I know this 6 year old at my church, and at one point she was at my house and we baby-sitting her as her parents were off somewhere. Now, this girl happens to be a priest's daughter, and he does not believe in discipline, so when she was here she would as for everything, as though she has that ability, desp...

  • @SirSeanald continued:ite her young age. Therefore, giving them more rights does not necessarily mean they won't feel the need to rebel, because me being a kid, knows everyone goes through that stage, sure bad parenting may have come into play for everyone including myself, but rights ≠ no rebelling

  • i think she just wanted to get high. my opinion, she'll get through this phase soon. i have hope in her (:

  • Stop huffing, kids!

  • I don't like how Dr Phil is always really patronising towards teenagers.

  • @FiremanLV5

Old people watch his show. Old people don't like young people or their rebellious ways. ????. Profit.

  • She already seems kind of dumb... theater and cheerleading 'lol' yeah it is happening already! wow

  • "I did it 20 times and nothign happend to me"... well I disagree she seems pretty dopey and dense. I think its already damaged her brain. Just look at her and listend to her she sounds stupid.

  • Wow, have you guys noticed that male teenagers are more open to change and less rebellious? I hope to God I have a son and I thank my parents that they didn't spare the rod on me when I was disobedient.

  • she is so beautiful!! why in the hell?? stop this before you could end up dead!! *tear

  • This is so sad. I have friends who did this, and they are not at all normal today.

  • she has no withdrawels, notice how everybody glosses over that

  • She is to stupid to even lie to her parents just to get out of rehab. Geeze we all snuck around (huffing is super retarded though) but you learn to cover your ass. And don't FORCE your kids to go to church.

  • i feel her pain... please everyone listen to her first before "helping" her.... talking in better than any treatment.... talking and understanding...

  • this phil guy seems like an arrogant self-rightous twat

  • she's pretty hot for a 15 year old.

  • @ReeceFbaybe cunt off !

  • She's having a really hard time defending herself...

  • I don't think the issue was addressed here ... her parents wouldn't let her watch SPONGE BOB. That's whacked.

  • I don't like how Dr Phill handles this. His not addressing the problem that the parents also has. I mean they didn't even let the girl watch sponge bob ftw?

  • @colorfulkittens100 do you meen "for the win" or "what the fuck?"

  • @TheThatguy101 what the fuck its just what the fuck backwards for the win is just some dumb thing some kid made

  • @colorfulkittens100 why not just do wtf then lol xD

  • @TheThatguy101 because dr phill passed the point of wtf :3 his way beyond wtf

  • I must say Im not impressed with how Dr Phil is dealing with them

  • This daughter is shockingly self-aware for a computer-cleaner-huffing 15 year old.

  • she does NOT have a problem. she's NOT an addict from trying drugs a few times! omg. the doctors only care about the money and her parents only care about controlling her entire life. i hope she gets emancipated from her crazy, religious parents.
