  • seriously, whats funny about a grown man putting a umbrella on his head?

  • @lintownboy He didn't do it himself, he probably lost a bet or messed up at work, so his boss made him do it.

  • Smile to the camera! :D

  • What is wrong with your right eye?

  • Hes just mastering his jutsu.

  • The Japanese. Best sense of humour in the world. XD

  • And plus for those 19 who disliked this get the stick out of your ass!!!

  • Yet another reason to visit Tokyo !

  • Let me know when this wannabe Tom Green says one thing funny ever. Corny ass bitch!

  • My life has been changed.

  • This is a typical Samurai-man (similar sounds to salary-man=businessman).

He is imitating Samurai /Bushi hair style ("Chonmage") for he lost his,

to show his discipline with a good balance which fits to this peaceful country.

  • Im Going To Japan as a trade student T_T ! im so nervous ! But I love Japan !

  • I wonder what the customers would be like at a Japanese Wal-Mart...

  • lol. He gave a peace mark to the camera. I wonder why he was doing that...... If I was there, I would have asked him.... *just curious*

  • This is the ancient art of Japanese umbrella balancing called "wagasato". Long ago when girls reached puberty they would practice walking gracefully by placing a paper umbrella on their head as a girl in the west would place books on her head for the same purpose. Businessmen sometimes do this while intoxicated because it reminds them of teenage schoolgirls and find it wildly tittilating as the excited expression on this man's face so firmly demonstrates.

  • @choi4816 No that's what your flat face flat body Korean whores do in Japan when they want a real Japanese man and not you little Korean bitch boys ;-)

  • The guy serving that old man; professionalism right there. Clearly they get all sorts of customers, yeah? :'D

  • @AgentSanSan Professionalism, or he just hates his job and doesn't give a fuck. >_>

  • OMG, haahhahhh, nice catch.

  • I bet that guy's a Leo, no mistake!

  • SARARIMAN

  • lololololol airplane hat >>>>>> Oh no unbrella hat >llol did u no he was wait u must hv set that up,,,,,I laughed hard when i finally notice it.LOLOLOLOL :---0

  • @Ortay5

Why do you care what everyone thinks ? Be yourself, do what you want. Some ppl may judge you, on a surface level, but on a deeper level they just secretly wish they could be as free as you. So what they are really judging is themselfs. Go out balancing an umbrella on top of your head and have fun...or better yet, go to Tokyo and have not only fun but fucking fun ! "Normal" ppl are often painfully boring anyways...

  • @TaikaProtagonist RIGHT ON!!!! DOWN WITH NORMALNESS!!

  • even the girls in the background looks at the camera instead of the man WITH A FREAKIN UMBRELLA on his headlol. I love japanXD

  • What's wrong with it? I do it all the time depending on what I'm carrying. Some people just don't understand -___-

  • nice balancing skill... try perform that in the street, that should help u earn some extra bucks

  • That isn't an actor?! WTF wrong with this guy?!

  • look at him! He knows hes awesome!

  • Do those people find that normal?

  • @Jibbletoad

Balancing umbrella on top of your head is about the most normal thing in the world, especially in a city like Tokyo where working ppl are hyperstressed. It´s a sign of sanity struggling in often insane world by means of comic relief. I personally find "ordinary people", those who claim to be "normal" and don´t ever do things like that rather boring, humourless, repulsive and sometimes even scary in their normality...which is insanity.

  • @TaikaProtagonist Thats really good to know.

  • hahahah... :D

  • lol awesome

  • umbrellahead, that guy in the backgound is awesome

  • 2,000 years? Try a little longer than that.

  • hahaha they're more interested in the camera/white guy than the umbrella balancing man

  • lol this should be on failblog.

  • huh .. why??

  • trolling XD

  • After watching this video, my wife divorced me for not being able to balance an umbrella on my head as gracefully as that guy.

  • @mrhaider I am sorry for your loss. I, as a young man, have decided to attend Umbrella Balancing On Head Cram School, so I can learn from your transgressions. Wish me luck. Ganbatte!

  • That was pretty funny. Pity about the talking nerd in the way of the camera.

Just mute him- the video's better for it!

  • haha thats great! still it doesnt beat the dude i saw on 23rd walking around with his pet cat sitting on his head.. xD

  • 2000 years ain't special. I'm German and we got just as much.

  • and your point is?

  • @KaiXi333 I'm French and I thought the same, but maybe for an american it appear to be a great deal...

Japanese culture still remain awesome though.

  • culture my ASS

  • Japanese are freaking AWESOME!!!

  • japanese people are just akward, that was not funny at all..

    that why their comedies suck

  • @lintownboy You suck.

  • LOL I miss tokyo for moments like this. I actually went to Karaoke with drunken Japanese businessmen last year and it was one of the coolest things ever.

  • LOLOL

  • By the way, this vid was hilarious!

  • Agreed!

  • So funny. But i love it because so what? Why cant he do that? Whats wrong with that? I hate when people get all fuzzed up just because people do something unorthodox.

  • yada yada yada... 2000 years... 2000 years... du redest kompletten unsinn!!!

  • that guy is my best friend

  • cant you people see that is just part of his martial arts training

  • actually like 90% of the countries in the world are 2000 years old, even if they didn't have the same name or size of the entire 2000 years.

  • All that matters is what those countries have achieved for 2000 years! Niggers spent 10.000 years living inside a cave! (facts and evidence remained)

  • well maybe it also matter what those countries will achive in the next 2000 years. it matters more what they can create in 2000 y than what they can destroy in 200 years... i know one country which stries it's best to destroy stuff with no moral reasons.

  • you sre completely right! america does reach for supremacy... but it is impressive what they have achueved in 200 years! If a country withs uch tiny history has the platform to threaten the world.. it deserves some respect! But as to 2000 years.. we don't have that much time.. to give to the inferior! niggers are the reason we will be thrown back by 2000 years! They've had much more time then that to evolve and benefit the world! Instead they chose to bring in more violence hate and chaos!

  • you'r right. anyway, thanqs for the thumb up ;)

  • I did actually thumb up :D

  • Please show me those facts and evidence. Within the last 200 years alone, from artistry to law, blacks have help to shape america and much of the west. We are just only known for the music. You're right america does reach for supremacy, And our standing with the world is improving even in this bad recession thanks to that negro we have in office.

  • @drpittbull worthless evolution? Last time I checked, I evolved physically the same way that you did. But I defiantly have a higher mental capacity than you. Where's Africa? I could've sworn it was underneath Europe surrounded by the atlantic and indian oceans. A quick google search could've told you that. Most countries in Africa are financially stable and governing themselves well but I doubt you know that. I doubt you know that there are roughly 54 countries in africa including arab nations..

  • @drpittbull 2.) just like I highly doubt that you know he wars and inept governing is limited to roughly 7-10 countries in Africa. As for America's foundation, It was the native american that taught your white ancestors how to fertilize the soil and the use of corn, and it was the strength of african slaves that was able to further improve upon it from THEIR OWN knowledge. It would be the building techniques of huts in africa, that allowed the many a slave master insulation when a chimney could

  • @drpittbull 3).. do only so much. And it was the strength that help build a lot of ancient stone structures and other marvels that help level the 'wild west'. It was your ancestors fascination with black skin and hair that help market and sell everything from plates to jars, to dolls, to combs. And its still that way today. Nevermind the the Christian Bible stories take place solely in Africa, or that essences of our folk music is what drives the music industry presently. Or things like...

  • @drpittbull 4.) street lights, steam boiler. Go to the library, its there, or better yet, just google, THEN go to the library to verify. Stop being lazy. I dont know about other parts of the west, but for BOTH the americas, African/black culture is wrapped in so intricately that you couldn't cut one out even if you wanted to. And I know you want to. And also, I don't mind putting you on blast for all youtube to see, but this page wasn't meant for this.

  • Artistry, Law... are you serious? Now you give me atleast one example of inovation, or invention or anything even a little usefull for our society that was brough by niggers? Everything around you has been created by us! And you are no more then a packet of meat with white man's label on It! Slavery was the only way anyone could get you to work! Even there there were more problems then good! You are alone responsible for the downfall of our kind! Not for long!

  • kirlanda4ever.. I wholly disagree.. but I am wondering to where did you get the literature from? I mean I know from where.. being a bookseller! Can you send me a list of titles.. that have formed that weird world view? i seriously want to educate myself beyond to what I already know about africa, It's history, culture and most of all importance in the lives of everyone! My knowledge about that god forsaken continent are bigger than yours! Eastern-European education system is very demanding

  • You're an Eastern-European talking about Africa.

Might as well be a Nazi talking about Jews. Fuck outta' here.

  • You retard don't make any sense! look back at your comment! won't take a second for a white man to determine that this growel comes out of the niggers mouth! Nazis were talking about Jew you imbicile! That's the chaos in niggers head that need to be engaged! You are an embaressement to democrats! you are a prime reason why their regime crumbles!

  • Idiot.

  • WASTED! LMAO!

  • Then he has great balancing skills for someone who is "wasted".

  • yeah that was funny and great =D

  • From what I've seen... at the end of the day there are many wasted salarymen, some of whom have amazing balancing skills, and others that tend to zigzag while trying to talk to this short American girl, bump into me, and fall asleep on the train and fall onto my shoulder... bleh...

  • Whoa that guy looked WASTED!!!

  • LOL

  • geez! that guy fucked up 2000years of our modest and elegant culture in a silly way! hahaha I luv that dude

  • ...cocaines is a hell of a drug...

  • HAHAHAHAHHA dace chappelle ha?

  • * Dave Chappelle

  • LMFAO

  • who needs hands with head skills like that.

  • 「サラリーマン」だ。「リ」を伸ばすのだ。そう、そう、そう。「サラリーマン」、「サラリーマン」、そう、そう、そう。

  • awesome I want to go live in japan one day, I'm studying as best I can seriously, I find myself doing random things a lot like that guy sometimes and I am really fascinated by the Japanese culture and language

  • Got to love your videos!!! I just search for culture and this video was the first!

So I watched it xD and gave it 5stars...again.

    Kiss*

  • Correction: "I've just searched..."

    Oops...

  • Great!

  • My guess, from my time in Japan, is drunk. Most likely very, very, drunk. I miss royal milk tea!

  • AHHH! Milk Tea!!! Kirin!! ;_; I miss Nagoya... I want to go back... Canada is hurting my soul.

  • There's milk tea sold in Canada, including Kirin. Maybe it's a regional difference?

  • I can only get it in the city. Which is an hour away ._.)

  • not only in america dude :o

but that was funny as hell :DDD 5*

  • I love how the japanese don't find that strange but us in america are completely puzzled as to why this man chose to balance an umbrella on his head instead of just using the hooked end to hang from his arm.

  • LOL!! wow...people :)

  • that guy is just rediculous

  • hahah funny ish

  • What a nut haha

  • that is awesome!!

  • Was this thing planned or was it just something you happened to catch on camera?

  • umbrella xD

  • That was so funny with the guy with the umbrella on his head. Too cute!

  • What the....

  • He must be a NINJA,,,,,

  • yes, a businessman.

he must be in the business of making himself look dumb in public.

  • That was beautiful!

  • haha i agree, that would probably make my year seeing a salary man with an umbrella on his head... it'd certainly cheer me up =)

  • HIGHT TECH!!!!

  • What was that about?

  • LOL, wtf?

  • would u rather c him dancing in bikini flashing his nipples?

  • The dude was just doin' it for the lulz!!! :-))

  • lol!

  • 面白い

  • Funny sketch!

  • Oh my god !

    Where was that Cafe?

when I was in Tokyo 3 weeks ago...

Me and My friend walked past a guy who looked JUST like him... He had some kind of bottle on his head :D

We both think it was that guy :P

  • omgsh, i thought that was a set up but you say it's not. I didn't even hear a word you said. I was too distracted by that man. Luv it!!

  • I'm pretty sure that was all set up, but you did a pretty good job of making it look believable. Besides, it was funny.

  • Honestly, I didn't notice the umbrella. I was like "what is this video about?". Then I saw the umbrella.

  • smoke another one brother

  • omg the guy lol XD

  • oh my lord..o.o

  • What am I talking about, I have through your amazing vids. Yeeha

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!

  • what suprised me was that the guy who was casher, he act like it was nothing 0-o

  • They do that yo, it's bizzare I agree! Wonderful vid!

  • Yeah all that and a ride on the train with a drunk "salaryman!" (It's more interesting if you're a female gaigin...) <Moving to another car!>

  • Priceless!

  • jajajaja

  • do you think he knew their was an umbrella on his head?

if not he might have been looking for it,

I applaud you for making that speech up on the moment, hahaha! makes it waaaaay more funny :)

  • great that you catched that on tape.

...wonder if he gets it with that umber..

    *-*'

  • The f.... LOL

  • lol

  • Performance Artist?

  • Oh my. And what's so funny is that everyone looks but no one cares. XD You should do a feature on JP businessmen. I'd love to see more cool guys like this.

  • so funny!

  • This was fantastic. Really made me smile! The dialogue just set off the entire thing lol.

  • totally random... some bizarre folk walking around here

  • The funniest part about this is when you are giving the intro about the history/culture/respect - thats exactly how I would think of Japanese culture/society. Listening to you say that while the businessman is behind you is hilarious. btw: I love how people pay more attention to your camera than the guy with an umbrella on his head!!

  • I'm a big fan of the fact that the conversation between him and the employee probably didn't change at all as a result of the umbrella. Its culturally impossible for an employee to say to a customer "Hey dipshit, you've got an umbrella on your head." Instead he likely said, "Milk and sugar?"

  • Oh man that guy was funny!

  • oooohhh i saw cute nihonjins!!
