  • at 0:55 they make a awkward eye contact before they finish

  • i like robles a lot but i think liu xiang's technique is the best...even last week collin jackson was predicting liu xiang to win the london olympics, he said david oliver is strong and aggressive, robles is a floater who looks like someone who is born to hurdle but liu xiang is superior than them in terms of hurdling techniques, and most of the time collin jackson's prediction comes true as i have witnessed many times...

  • Maxican admire Chinese people..... China No.1 !

  • i love this guyy hahaha everytime hes just about to finish he always looks at his components haha and he STILL comes in firstt :) hes a beastt!!! <3

  • the guy in last place looks gay.

  • I love it how Lui Xiang celebrates with a Shoryuken lol

  • i love they stared at each other in the last 5 meters

  • @kopk888 yeah

  • when his head crosses the line the darker mans foot does to

  • @gearsrock98

they don't count foot but even it does

Xiang's foot crossed the line before his head

  • @gearsrock98 u mother fuck idiot.

  • isnt the guy in the middle supposed to be the fastest? he came in last place...and since when were chinese guys fast?

  • @69ninerodom liu xiang has been the best 110m hurdler in the world

  • Why can't people just enjoy the beauty of perfection. It is not about the different ethnicities, it is about what the human race can accomplish. When Liu Xiang wins, we all win. Although I am not the person running, I know deep in my heart that it something that a human being can and did accomplish, so sit back relax and enjoy the ride, when that ride comes to an end, I will want to be remembered as a person that accomplished something rather than an obstacle that hindered that progression.

  • @MusicforMe123 wow that was beautiful...ima quote u

  • Liu Xiang is a great champion.

  • Can a Jap ever do that?

This proves the Chinese are the Supreme race of Asia.

  • @Nickdapantydroppa Are you stupid, are you really. Do you no that Europeans se themselves as one race, And westernes also see asians as one, westernes thinks all asians are the same, besides this is just hurdles. Don't try too make a difference and a fight of of this.

  • @Nickdapantydroppa I would not brag on being a "supreme race" when your weiner size is about 1" or less....

  • @drdeathkwp . have u ever suck on any weiner before?? how come u know their sizes???

  • @Nickdapantydroppa

Koji Murofushi and Shingo Suetsugu with the rest of his relay team from Beijing just off the top of my head.

  • guys dont feed the trolls...they bite

    great run by xiang

  • i kinda feel bad for him cos he ALWAYS gets 2nd place...

  • uk PRO. ur obviously some kind of fool or pussyhole using the word, i wud love you to say that to a BLACK person and see if your still alive [:

  • look how happy he is ,

if you see the other races after hes won this one ,

he gets really relaxed and just like expects to win ,

    and only runs lk 13:30

  • im a freshman and run 16:6 and only 5'7 lick my balls

  • im 7 years old 8'1 midget and run it in 20 seconds...NO ONE GIVES A FUCKIN SHIT U FUCKIN NIGGER.

  • LEARN TO SPEAK

  • keep iit up bro!!! You have alotta work to do...

  • I would love 2 run them that fast, im about to be a junior in high school and run a 17:04..............that is my dream to compete in a world wide competition........

  • your a junior and your running 17? where are you from? because up here in midget i was running 14.7, and now i'm a junior and we moved the hurdles to 36height and i'm still running in the 14s

  • he runs in lane 9 because he had a very slow semi final like 13,33

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • why the hell does he run in lane 9?

  • nvm i see robles now

  • you see he beat robles!

  • lol robles wasn't even there

  • haha i like how in the slow motion you can see liu and second place turn their heads to look at each other

  • Shōryūken!!!!

  • joahy4864 also china won the 5000 metres and marathon ones

    bad comment btw

    it only shows ur ignorance

  • how old are u?

U looks like born yesterday ...hahahahhahaaha~~~

Do u know one thing is named"google"

    Check chinese olympic history.

  • hahaha. look how he turns his head completely left to look at everyone else. i find that hilarious.

  • wow talk about underdog he wasnt leading at all in the start. Keep up the work

  • xiangs technique is the best but he should lean into the hurdles but i think robles will eventually become better than liu in the future. cant wait for beijing

  • But Terrence has a lot of room to improve

  • look at trammell's body, it's caved inwards whereas Liu Xiang's body is straight inbetween the hurdles. Trammell is too concerned with the ground. His posture isn't right.

  • like Trammell said thats the last time he will beat me and I believe it

  • I doubt it. Liu is a hurdle technicain and Tramell has a lot to fix with his technique if he wants to beat Xiang and his current world record. look at the video xiang bairley ran to the finish and still beat tramell. A matter a fact he did not use his arms in the last few steps of the race and Tramell still did not gain on him

  • Tramell had the lead untill the 8th to 9th hurdle. He has a tendency to slow down

  • Young Wayne is right. What my coach at USC, Tommie Lee White, loves to emphasize is running off of the hurdle. Watch the video a couple of times in regular motion of Xiang and Trammell. Trammell is too concerned about putting his foot into the ground and sprinting, instead of letting the ground come to him and pushing his weight forward down the track.

  • And, yes Trammell runs 6.4 and 10.0 in the sprints but Xiang, who says he runs around 10.4 is kicking his ass on the run in. Trammell has to stop all the sideways movement when he runs and needs to stop straight legging in order to beat Liu. Although it seems as if I dont like Trammell, I actually want to see him win because he should be in the 12.7s i think as well as the 7.2s in the 60H

  • if tramell fixed his technique into, over, and off the hurdle to mirror xiang he would smoke xiang. Tramell is still oldschool hurdling....... if he just makes his lead and trail be one action inctead of 2 he could b much faster. all amreican hurdler have talent and strength to be the best but their technique is killing them when it comes to the commies like Robles(CUBA) and Xiang(CHINA). by da way hows USC Terry im thinkin about tryin to get a visit over there nxt year

  • no way.

terrence trammell is getting too old, he can't psychically or techniquely beat liu or robles

  • lol yea he is getting 2 old but in his prime he coulda beat em wit an improved technique. most ppl dnt like 2 hear what i say but it is the truth

  • thats exactly what i just said but his age would be a factor. Still imagine if he is that fast at his age and still that close 2 xiang with technique that is in-efficient imagine if he changed it... Are bells ringing 4 u yet. Im just tryin 2 tell people what is really going on but anagin if u practice tramells style vs. xiangs you'll definatley see the difference between the 2. You'll only know until you try. I not saying 2 become xiang modify his technique to your body type....

  • thats retarded becuz its just like saying someone with good running technique could out sprint usain bolt if he was faster. of course anyone could beat usain bolt, if they were "faster"

  • Thats Where you are wrong you CANNOT compare the 100m 2 the 110h they r 2 TOTALLY different races. 110s os more than technique tan anything and is a much mor complicated race. Bolts technique is amazing i dnt think anyone but asafa has techniqe like him. How old are you? What do u know about the hurdles to be able to actually contribute useful information other than analogies u didnt work out correctly. U r a waste of time make sure u read all the posts I made AGAIN b4 u make stupid assumptions.

  • Yep u cant compare 110hurdles with 100...

its such like comparing long jump with high jump.

The technique and the rithym in the hurdles are the most important thing.

Of course at that level you must be very fast.

  • @marco513 Sounds like excuses to me. Chinese are billion strong and believe or not asians are fast if they want to be.

@kopk888 They should have slow motion video of their faces and a bubbly love song playing while their lock eyes. (Sarah Barailles?)

  • @iMaDeMoN2012 i am not saying that chinese are not strong or fast...i just said that the races are different...and they are.

  • so wait how do you even know this?are you a hurdle expert?do you run them??coach perhaps?wel,i run them so i think i would know that you can only do what you can do and the key to hurdles is yes, good form which he has, same with Liu's form and being able to be faster then your oponents, and hurdles are grueling so in order to pul away like Liu did in the last meters that takes a whole lot of energy and he has obviously worked on it enough to master it,and mentaly and physically he in beter shape

  • okay Pepriatildeath i hope u are not thinking u kno more than HURDLERWAYNE aka Wayne Davis, who left them comments above...if u are check ya self cuz he has more HS national and WORLD records in the hurdles then any other American hurdler ever... O did i mention hes still in HS?

  • well, lo siento.... i did not know that until i started talking to him a couple days ago... no but i do teach hurdles at schools... so other high schoolers.. yes... i know he is still in high school... and so am i.... so.... yeah.... lo siento, not really a come-back person!
  • its cool i was just informin u...lo siento lol

  • When you guys that are downing my pomments win a national title in the 110 hurdles or break a hurdle record then you can come tell me that tramell's technique is better because it truly isnt.

  • a guy from my school is trying to break your youth record

  • so your saying liu isnt a straight legger? trammel can straight or bend his lead leg all he wants, but doesnt mean its better for him... liu straight legs and robles step the hurdle... it depends on which is best for the hurdler. the difference between the both is liu's perfect or near perfect body placement compared to trammels side to side movement and placement off the hurdle.i see in alot of trammels vids his hips are always twisting except for the first half of this race n reebok classic 07

  • fast legs

  • it does matter if he was running outside lane. He could have break the record again if somebody was challenging beside him. When he broke the record, everybody in both side is challenging him and he got a good time, 12:88! Look at the 100m in 2004 Athens Olympics. Mo Greene should have won, but because he was in the outside lane he and Asafa only looking at each other and they ignore Gatlin! Gatlin got it! it the somehow the same case!

  • lol 0:52 is damn funny~~ Xiang and another athlete are staring each other!!

  • esta en la linea 9 xq el chino lo planifico todo para no tener la presion, es decir le dejo la presion al resto, y si se fijan el solo corre entre las vallas y desde la 5 empieza su carrera, es realmente un maestro este chino

  • why is he in lane 8?!

  • maybe he can get a good view of where all the runners are relative to him. If he's in the middle, he can only see half of the runners. That is just my interpretation.

  • lol you see the other guy from china in the middle lane? i think that's where liu xiang should've been. the officials might have mixed them up. he shouldn't be in lane 8

  • lane draws are done on qualifying times. liu took the heats and semi finals easy and so he got a slower time which puts him on the outside.

  • yeah i didn't realize that till now since most of the time they just qualify for the finals by taking it slower

  • stupid

  • they starin each other down before the finish line roflpwndd

  • now THATs ma boi

  • His surname is Liu and not Xiang. The Chinese put the family name before the given name.

  • I tend to call athletes by their surname. When I know them personally I call them by their first name usually.

  • Tramell appears to shorter his stride (watchi his knees) where as Xiang smoothly jumps the hurdle with a consistent stride with high knees.

  • fantastic win by Xiang on the outside lane and in a very slick time of 12.95!

He has shown he can perform at his best under pressure at the highest levels. Definately the hot favorite for the gold next year in his home country in a WR time :)

  • look like an easy running from him

    he is the best

  • He actually said he could've gotten 12.90ish fairly easy if he hurdled better in the Chinese interview soon after the race. Hell yea 2008 can't wait!

  • just some thoughts..i can't believe robles didn't place bcuz he did win against liu xiang once....

xiang could of ran faster in the middle lanes.

it would of been great seeing xiang, trammel, robles battling it out though.

lx is the best, he'll go on to win in 2008.

  • thanks for uploading...congrats to liu xiang, my hero!!!

trammel is elite runner too, and consistent, all the best to them both in 2008.

  • yea. japs intentionally put liu xiang on the last lane, hoping to make him slower, and not get the gold.

  • yeah i think so too..also the fact they made him as the person that broke in the semis when it was the guy next to him who did first... :/

  • Xiang was even in the the outside lane! still he managed to be the champion! it's rare! what if he's beside Trammell? Trammell probly eat his dust and kiss his ass from start to photo finish! Go Liu!

  • There's no curves. All the lanes are the same so it doesn't matter if he was in the outside lane or not.

  • actually it does matter if you're in the outside lane since its harder for you to see who you're competing against and don't know just how much you need to get first

  • that's why lx is in advantage here because the way he is under pressure he still only focuses on himself in the race...he doesnt look at what opponents are doing

  • Xiang is very cool customer after seeing him win the Asian Games title where there was even more national pressure (though Less competition)on him I knew he would cope with this

  • thanx for the post.......tremell needs to work on his top end foot speed and he should be able to take Xiang because he has better form over the hurdles

  • if xiang works harder on his start, it is very difficult to take Xiang in these few years, he is just 24, a golden age for a track athlete.

  • Having better form doesn't mean that he'll run faster than Xiang. Trammell tends to clip hurdles too often and Xiang rarely ever does that.
