I couldn't have said it better. I really can't stand that in America most people don't know or don't care about half of these bands...yet, they are the best music out there. I feel all alone out here according to music, and music is a big part of my life.

it must be a good feeling to know that you're financially secured after you're first banded has fucking gone down the toilet (The Libertines) and still have a back up plan and starting your own band. Must be the greatest feeling to have your own band recognized worldwide. Cheers Carl.

he's far from financially secured. everyone i know with a libs cd is a copy and theyre not the sort of band that people buy tshirts for. now if they did a reunion tour...then theyd be minted
