What's a GCSE? I don't believe we have them in Australia or they're called something else.

its a general certificate in secondary education, you take them in your 5th year of high school in 8/9/10 subjects, you like have to do maths engilsh and a science compulsory, but then you choose others like PE, geography ect. =]

Yeah you do take them but you have a diffrent name for them and i think it might be a slightly diffrent qualiication :)

you can do equine studies in Australia at TAFEs during year 10,11 and 12 which sounds like a similar thing to this :) its fun.

Can I give you some advice? Well here it is, Collect your horse before each jump other wise he will rush them to much and end up getting faults.

hey, he seems to rush into fences? Is that a common problem? Because Im working with my pony at the minute and he used to rush into fences, I kept him in hand walking over a raised trotting pole, then trotted him over, then very slow canter. Then jump on and ride in circles going over the jump but keep him in walk at the low end of the pole then trot in the middle and canter in the middle but if he tries to take off with you then take him back to walk

i did it as one of my graded sports, like you know you pick 4 sports?

i based my fitness programme around riding though and like components you need to be a fit rider :)
