We have allowed our corporations and interest groups to become too large. They provide the monies that enable our government to be elected. Our politicians will never allow their benefactors to go under, they will literally drive this country out of existence first.
How do we fix this? Do we start putting restraints on free speech through campaign finance reform?
After the collapse, maybe we should set the top tax bracket back into the 80% range to discourage companies from getting too large.
