For those interested - the road this (and many other speed records) is on is Goudies Rd in the middle of the North Island, NZ. Half way between Rotorua and Tâupo, its not that narrow, it just looks it at 300+kph...

doesnt do any engine a bit of good running high rpm with that kinda of load on it. lots of drag on the car. and 3000 pounds to push against that air. no engine is just like the other. you may get lucky once. but eventually. youl fry something or crack a head or block. or throw the piston and rods out of the block.

so yes u r right rally cars r limited to 300bhp with a 32mm ristrictor but rally teams get round tht by gettin as much torque out the car as possible

they ristricted it to 300bhp because earlier rallying day there was lots of serious crashes with big bhp rally cars
