Smokey and Claudette's voice together made the Miracles total magic...just like Flo and Diane in that Motown girl group....Both voices together, call and response, made spellbinding music...Ronnie, Pete, and Bobby were great, but Claudette's answering Smoke's vocals...sheer heaven!

AND SHE'S STILL CUTE AS A BUTTON AT ALMOST 70! she left smokey for his drugs, messing around with cute sister who was also on drugs and general bad husband behavior, however he had a girlfriend for 25 years in the background and finally married her.. though in his heart if claudette would have taken him back he would have been one happy old crooner! they were meant to be together.

Like the other poster said, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. For one thing, Smokey divorced Claudette, not the other way around. And he did have have a couple of mistresses, which one of them had his child, but it was no where near 25 years that he had been with either of his mistresses when they divorced. And he never married either of them. You must get your information from the National Enquirer or something, or you dreamed this up!

Claudette sung in the studio because she lost a couple of babies until they had a son and then she stopped.

I thought that you didn't know the Chiffons from the Crystals from the Miracles. I cam confused , why would Claudette turn her back on the Miracles, her husband Smokey , Berry and the Tamla Motown family ?. Back then they were making money. Explain what you know about this. I'll be waiting. Never heard this story. Thought I was up on the Tamla/Motown/Gordy story.

@VTERRELL Claudette never really left the Miracles. She just had to stop doing the tours, because of health problems. She had a total of 8 miscarriages. She got off the road, and once she did, she and Smokey finally had 2 healthy babies, a boy, Berry, and girl, Tamla. They are both grown with kids of their own, now. Claudette continued recording with The Miracles in the studio, and stayed with the group until Smokey left in 1972
