  • Why you hate earwigs so much?

They use their snipper snips to trim your body hair when you lie down on the grass at night.

  • nice i hate earwigs

  • :O!! THE FUCK IS THIS??! THE FUCK WAS THAT??! I'm gonna have nightmares 6_6

  • Holy fuck one just crawle on my fucking be Sweet jesus!

  • now fry em ;)

  • Fertilizer ;)

  • Amazing... I had no idea olive oil attracted them. I'll have to pass this along to freinds! Thanks!!

  • That is really great. I think I will just fry those up for my Thai girlfriend, she will love it

  • Thanks. Gonna have to try this out asap.

  • This is a cool simple solution no poison in the garden good luck

  • why kill them? they're good for bald people!!!

  • That is awesome! I can't wait to try this tomorrow.

  • 3:06 "it's just pure earwig" lmao

  • ready to stir fry!

  • did you say that was after just one night?????

  • @djeraser I was just wondering becaue you have alot of those.

  • Hey umm @djeraser where do you live because you have a lot of those just wondering.

  • @MegaJalen1234 Adelaide Australia

  • Where can you buy these? I can't seem to find anyone that sells them.

  • @PaganLogic1867 I am unsure however i heard someone was using ice cream containers with holes cut in the sides and buried up to the holes.

  • Im so doing this. I swear when I grow up i'm becoming a gnat and earwig Hitler.... <_<..... Fuck em.

  • i dare you to drink it.

  • These things are all over Georgia, there not really a big problem

  • A really great way to kill them is to take some dawn dish soap, mix it with water and put it in a squirter bottle.....you could say the soapy water eats them....it also works on asian beetles/ box elder bugs

  • Tried this with rapeseed oil. Didn't work. All I have left is sunflower oil. Hope this works, or I''ll have to spend money! :P

  • I once had a rusty old pogo stick i kept in the grass for a whole year. And when i went out to check it there was ear wigs around it so i brought it to the road and kept shaking it and 100s of earwigs came out! then i had a good time stomping them.

  • damn... using Extra Virgin Olive Oil... the good stuff!

  • Dare you to drink the contents

  • como faço para encontrálos, preciso desenvolver um trabalho sobre eles?????

    alguem sabe ?

  • There is something I don't understand. You put the oil in the container and the earwigs go into the container but where do you put the spray? I saw you spraying the leaves but how do you kill the earwigs that are in the container?? Do you spray the inside of the container to kill them? can someone help?

    Thanks

  • @mimoyassine Obviously when they go inside the trap they get trapped. Then they can't get out and drown in the oil.

  • @mimoyassine -- When you cook them up later, they die... Self marinading snacks. JK!!! Really cook idea, I'll keep this in mind when we start the garden in the spring!

  • ear wig holocaust...

  • I have that same sprayer. you get that at family dollar? and the traps all it is is Extra virgin olive oil. can I make my own traps?

  • in usa we have Bifenthrin .0.05 percent solution and BiFenthrin granules made by ortho. I had to spent like 100 dollars on insecticides this year cause I got an earwig invasion. The trap thing did not work from me. my seedlings all died but some recovered late. I started torturing the suckers by spraying soap on them. They are fun to watch when they die.

  • they make my arse itch just thinkin about them!

  • This dude LOVES his plants.

  • LOL @ that moat comment. Thanks for this, it was very helpful.

  • holy bleep... well i kno what im putting just out side my doors and crap from now on.

  • @alaster74 I was trying to persuade my other half to let me build a moat around our house ;)

  • i found theese in my bed b4 ewww sooo gross

  • theres earwigs in my freakin house and im afraid of them one bit me! and im afraid they will get into my ear and lay eggs please someone comment and help me

  • @THExIRISHxKID From what i heard they don't go inside a person's ear and lay eggs and have the babies eat your brain. But if your still scared why not just cover up your ears or plugged them up? Also earwigs aren't venomous so the most that would happen is a pinch and bite mark. i would still wash it after though lol.

  • @weiming10 thanks i havn't seen them in a while and i found out later that night that if they get into your ear they wont get far due to ear wax but ty

  • @weiming10 Earwigs don't even make pinch marks...

  • @jedihunter176 yeah, lol, but it was late at night when i commented so i was out of it hahaha

  • @THExIRISHxKID Haha!! thats classic...the lay eggs bit is funny as!

  • Omigosh! THANK YOU for this idea! these things are eating all of my plants in my garden! I'm for sure going to try this! Thanks again!!!

  • Any advice for earwigs in the home? I have a few rooms in the basement that are finished but have woken up in the night to a couple of them on me in the night :X.

  • if we make a home-made trap do we need the cap on the top? or just have an open trap?

  • @rangerbude I don't see why an icecream container with oil in it wouldnt work. (I'm no expert) but i do know the earwiggs like hiding in the dark so im not sure if they go in there to hide during the day and then drown.

  • @djeraser k thanks

  • @djeraser I used a shallow bowl with oil & soy sauce (read that online) at soil level. Didn't catch any earwigs, but it did catch 2 caterpillars that I've never seen before. I think it either needs to be deep, like a pit they fall into and are too slippery to climb, or as you said they need a cover.

  • yer good i dea, we have such a bad problem with them and lettuce, wat i have been doing is i fill up a spray bottol with water and detergent or soap and spray them at night, they crall up and die within seconds but its still annoying to have to do

  • The Basol snail pellets also apparently kill the earwiggs in their tracks, but we had a dog and worried about her eating them

  • hi,

so im not the only one with these things. i had them eat seedlings. but i looked in my old laundry sink thing outside it has parsley. well anyway it was practically decimated. i went out tonight and there must have been hundreds of them.

i sprayed them with pyrethrum but need some of those traps good idea

  • Yeah they are a pain in the bum, also be aware they apparently bite :|. What i did is i had water and a little bit of dish washing liquid in a spray bottle(they really hate it), apparently a little bit of eucalyptus in there too is meant to help in killing them.
