what is emo these days anyway? the style aspect of it has been branched into "scene", and isn't all music written to be emotional in it's own way? the emo genre has transformed from a very teen-angst-like sound that was actually meaningful and artistic, into this sad and feel sorry for yourself crap. not to say that all those types of songs are bad, but i think emo is less of an actual genre, and more of a trend and a label.

@BigScreenStudios cause the emo bands like this put their heart and energy into it and give their songs meaning and structure and helps people feel better. i support to write love on her arms but yeah i consider myself part of the emo scene

Most music is emotional.
"Emo" as a genre was music venting depressing/unhappy feelings. It wasn't all whiny, either, some of it was screamed out in anger.
Bottling things up = Bad. Which is why hatred of that style, trying to silence the expression, is very wrong.
