I tend to agree that this is a sales pitch rather than a lesson. The important points are. Do not remove a knife or penetrating object., it looks scary but it is better to leave it in place. To stop bleeding apply pressure directly on the wound. Use your hand or a cloth, shirt or bandage if you have one, a tourniquet is a last resort, but it is very seldom necessary. Finally, the Israeli bandage is popular with the military and has good videos here on you tube.

This is information that could save lives and they just care about selling DVD's.
