Most associations allow belts to be considered raw since they help protect hernia and blowing back. If he was wearing briefs or knee braces then it wouldn't be RAW.

Great form, one of the best low bar squats I've seen. Looks somewhat like mine. Not saying I'm anywhere near as good as him, but I tend to squat more like that rather than the powerlifting style.

@zurichdublin I sort of agree. The sport decrees that you must break parallel. Therefore breaking further than parallel is a waste of energy. HOWEVER, when raw squatting your knees are strongest when in the fully flexed position, so there is no harm in squatting this way. But as a practicing powerlifter, I agree that squatting 700+ pounds ANY DEPTH is good going!

Its like this is powerlifting, not Olympic lifting. If you want to touch your ass to the ground and make it a competition, then go for it.
But don't sit there and act like its easy to squat 700, 800, or 900+ to Parallel or slightly below parallel.
