  • these assholes need to install better traffic lights and biker lanes...there's no right of way in this asshole of a country

  • @siliconsurf

Last time I went to china (2 years ago) i was pretty impressed with the traffic lights. They had these LCD screens that showed how many seconds to a signal change in bright green / orange / red numbers.

The thing is, people still drive like crap. Notice how they are teaching chinese drivers to drive through obstacle courses in this video. I thought that was kind of funny. They've given up trying to teach them "right of way" and instead teach them how to drive around obstacles.

  • @AshLikeSnow01 do they have traffic cops in china and actually give out traffic infractions? seriously, that could deter asshole drivers if you start hitting their wallets.

  • @siliconsurf

I imagine that is very easy. China is a mommy state security cameras EVERYwhere. Not just at every intersection. I imagine giving tickets for traffic violations caught on camera like in some intersections in USA would be extremely easy to implement in china.

On the otherhand, In a nation where 100% of the population drive like crap. You also have to drive like crap to get anywhere (cut ppl off etc.). I'm not even sure if its against the law to drive like crap in China. continued..

  • @siliconsurf

    Part 2:

If nobody respects your right of way, The only way for you to move, is to cut them off first. And its kind of hard to give someone a traffic ticket for doing something they have no choice but to do if they want to get anywhere ever (especially if they don't, they block traffic and make things worse)

But yes, your right, I ahve no idea why they don't just hand out infractions all over.

  • @AshLikeSnow01 Well, hitting the drivers' wallets would be a great way to deter such fucked up driving behavior. I'm guessing they don't give out much tickets there, so everyone drive like it's the wild wild west.

  • chinese + cars = deadliest fucks in the world

  • Very funny!

Al Jazeera, also known as the voice of terrorists says that China has killer roads

  • @Dante1969 only called the voice of terrorists by the pentagon after they accidently gun down some journalist or blow up a tv studio.

  • the problem is too many people..

  • Yes, the licensing system in China is a joke. I knew a lot of people brought their driver licenses from some remote cites, and then they could just start to drive in Beijing or other highly populated cites without any proper training. "Road killers" thus made.

  • The Chinese are the worst inept drivers in the world. I think it's because they have no empathy for anyone or anything other than themselves. Look at how they treat animals or each other for that matter... It's like someone gave a three year old a car. They drive them the same speed as a bicycle.

  • @kjug250 You are retarded. LOL

  • I guess the chinese dont want to peddle any more time for the west to do some now if they want to save their planet under imaginary global warming threat good for you china burn that sweet smell of oil ummmmmmmm

  • lol

  • i was there before a week ago...great video

  • those driving schools are a joke, I see them all the time driving around and breaking all the traffic rules. Anyone who wants a license can just pay some money, even if they've never driven before. They need to give all new drivers a 3 or 4 year provisional-license like they do for teenagers in some other countries. there's nothing more dangerous than a rich, overconfident, inexperienced middle-aged man/woman driving around in a SUV in China

  • its the attitude. The school can teach them how to drive and the rules but its own attitude that ultimately determine someone's characters on the road.

  • Right, but we should remember driving is very cultural. I learnt from my dad, who learnt from his dad etc, but for most Chinese under 30, their parents never drove, or maybe are just learning now. And those who learn now think the way people drive is the "correct" Western way (i.e. passing on the right, driving in the opposite lane or while drunk, not stoping for passengers, waiting to make a left turn until oncoming traffic is gone), and they'll copy that and their kids will copy that on and on

  • Driving is cultural? interesting. I think 3 months learning is enough. The problem is, when they graduated from driving school and drove on the real road, they'll find that driving is not that easy as in school. When the majority drive in the same way, they had to follow or they can't go anywhere. A vicious circle

  • Yeah, many more things are cultrualy relevant than we probably think! for instance, if I hold my chopsticks, one in each hand, and stab at the food, am I not using them in the wrong way? If I put curry sauce on some ravioli noodles is it Italian or Indian food? or am I just making it in the wrong way? So then if I drive my car in the opposite lane or make a turn when I am not supposed to am I not driving the wrong way?

  • culture driving, that's new hehe

i guess that they don't learn how to drive in a 10 lane road with chickens running around the backseat and the food going wof wof in the trunk...it's only natural when so many people living cramped together that driving kills so many

  • Dude, they make it sound as if driving is scary.

  • well at least they drive on the left hand side.. i'd think that it would be in the right since japan and korea are.

  • at last the chinese are learning to drive properly, lolz

  • Only the video games are safe!

  • omg =O

  • NOTE TO SELF: Do not drive while in china... this situation makes my om and sister look like good drivers!! HAHA

  • incredible
