That's a terrible reason to dislike an album, but compared to their older stuff Minus the Herd is TERRIBLE.

And it just isn't the same live...at all...his voice doesn't even fit the intensity of their old songs. "A quick snap and that was it"...come on, that sounded terrible.

gab's vocals is pure aggression and i can feel it all through out solace and it doesn't even sound that he's trying...he's just so natural. kevin's version of OASD is somewhat half-assed though [sorry kevin ={ ]. minus the herd is okay but solace is the best. :)

i dunno dude, i just think the solace album made a demarcation that separates ion dissonance from all other bands that subsist through regurgitated cliche riffs and lack of innovation. just a personal opinion anyway. and for me O.A.S.D. has the best breakdown among all their songs. :p

they use ibanez rg1527 prestige with emg pickups. 7 strings btw. the tuning is still a secret though lol.

their live performances just dont do them justice unless youre actually there. most of the time the viewers on the receiving end of youtube get a shitty audio recording from a 2 dollar integrated mic with processing that isn't even streaming radio worthy or even mp3 worthy for that matter. i wish every band had high quality, live DVD releases; a lot of the mainstream bands you'll see with DVDs because they can afford the equipment or production or because their label permits it by any means.
