i cant watch this without crying. i love the lyrics, the meaning, corbins voice, the fact that they keep saying "we're home." everything.

Of course he's no Lin, that's the same for every broadway role originator. People have to find a way to make it their own. Maybe now he is better and found his groove. This video was probably done very early in his tenure as Usnavi. I'm going in a few weeks, so I'll let you know how he does :)

I saw In The Heights two days ago, and this video sounds nothing like Corbin Bleu. He's soooo much better now that he's had some practice.

He sounds like he's having some puberty issues. Lin Manuel IS Usnavi and there is just some conviction and depth to his voice and more simply his emphasis on certain words and phrases. I don't believe Corbin can top that, although it won't stop me from seeing the show June 13th.

I think that Corbin is a great singer, actor, and dancer. However, I really don't think that he fits THIS role very well. I feel like they only cast him in order to attract the HSM fans. Why else would they change the programs and posters, etc. to feature him when they didn't do that with the other Usnavis? Even still, I don't think that it's fair to compare him to Lin. It would be extremely hard for anyone to be better than he was. He has even said that he wrote the part for himself.

this is usually my favorite part of the play, it just gives me an incredible, positive feeling at the end. corbin just doesnt have it, he's completely missing the emotion

@videovixen16 @yazroo I think Corbin would make a better Sunny from the videos. I saw Lin live last January, and call me a purist, but anything but OBC doesn't work for me. I think Corbin is still a little young for the part

He's no Lin. Lin always gives me chills at the end, its so powerful, Corbin... not so much...
