RS5... Ok. Its engine is pre series at Audi Hungaria (where I work) . It's a 4.2 liter high reving (max 8600) V8, NO turbo, 450 HP. Similar to the RS4 engine but highly modified.

Pues es una pena, porque,si a audi le sale rentable porque no a BMW? no,se yo creo que cuando hagan el primer restyling al M-3, le meteran algun caballo mas y una reduccion de peso, si para 2010 no llega el BMW M-3 csl E-92, que yo creo que si lo sacaran a la venta... con unos 480 cv y 1400kg mas o menos.

Pues al parecer se corre el rumor de q se ha abanonado el proyecto por falta de clientes, y q no saldria rentable. se van a centrar en el desarrollo d unos nuevos X5 y X6. Se hablaba de de una aumento de 50 cv y una reduccion de peso de 100kg. Un saludo.

If Im not mistaken again I think they already came out with the new clk the clk63 amg that and the black series version which has also been tuned already by many tuners. and the clk series cars werent intended to be a direct competitor against the M3 the clk63 amg was more intended toward the m6. and I dont believe the rs4 beat the m3 sedan but if so then more power to it.

Bmw's "M" Devision Manager has said that they will NOT bring out a M3 CSL sindce they think its a bit Too Much.

BUT the RS5 is not the M3's only Competitor.

Mercedes will be coming with their all new CLK class, and yes it will have the All Mighty 63AMG with as much horses as the bigger Models.

Lets just wait a couple months, 2010 is far far away, lets worry about the Audi RS4 first, if that beats the M3 sedan, then YES we should worry about the Audi RS5 Vs M3 Coup.!

i don't know about the m3 being a better car I think they are equal in every aspect except power and power delivery awd system is awesome and twin turbo is much more desirable then a v8 bmw had it right when it came out with the 335i with a simple chip it's faster than an m3 also audi made the wrong choice with v8 s4 and s5 I'm glad they are going back to twin turbo with the rs5. imagine a chip exhaust and some little mods here and there and you have a 600hp+ rs5 sweet!!!!!

Wait a minute dude wait even at 500hp it'll still be to to heavy for the e92 M3(3425) it's (s5)3600+ pounds now just imagine bigger engine and performance gadgetries maybe 3750+ I think the c63 with 453hp tried that! And lost badly on the track, so yes I'll give you a few ticks quicker to 60 but that's it, then it's game time or lunch time.

the e92 m3 weighs more than the rs4...guaranteed weighs more than a s5 or even rs5. and as for the power rating being 450...theres no fucking way thats right. you cant take a car with 420 hp Naturally aspirated, slap 2 turbos on it and only come out to gain 30 hp. I'd say more like 600hp+ and way more with just a simple ecu reprogram. my v6 twin turbo s4 is a serious hoss after I flashed the ecu. gained 70hp and 130 lb ft of torque with nothing more than a flash on a stock car.

After looking up the specs on the 2003 rs6 I see that it is a 4.2 twin turbo v8 putting out 450 hp. so I'm guessing thats the engine this video is speaking about putting in the rs5. seems very detuned to me...I'm guessing a simple ecu reflash would release quite a monster.

RS5 will be out in 2009. The Audi vehicle release schedule was cough, "accidentally" released on their website. Also, Audi will produce more than 1 RS model at a time going forward, each introduced 2 years after the donor model, they are doing 3 right now as is, R8, RS 4, and RS 6.

Ummm the R8 is not an RS car.They will be doing an RS8 as the last before they reshape the body and start all over again. The S4, S6, and S8 are not selling....wait, NOTHING is selling now!!! I brought my S4 in for service over last week, and they offered me the S6 which has a base MSRP of 75K for 54K!!! They aren't selling new cars anymore. Although a beast I would rather keep my money in the S class. I have run RS4's before and i am not stock, and kept up with him pretty well considering.

Sure it can.. its just two very small turbos. Its purpose is so that the car wont experience any turbo lag. Just look at the BMW twin turbo, it might only make 300hp but it does get its full power (300hp, 300tq) at under 2000 rpms.
