Nothing symbolizes evil more than middle aged corporate elite white men raising their hands and swearing to speak the truth, when we all know that they will twist and turn and lie about everything in pathetic attempt to look dignified. From Leehman Brothers to Enron to pretty much every corporation in the west.
British Petroleum knew exactly what it was doing, they accepted a culture of lax safety for employees and environment. So no tie and suit will make your ugly old faces dignified!

Great job, Billy and Paul. What a nightmare this who thing has turned out to be. Interested in finding out how something like this could happen? Read Economic Apartheid in America. It's sobering.
Great job Billy. To the Romeoderivera, you've been drinking the Fox noise cool-aid. I'm 59 and it probably won't be in my lifetime. Our dependence on oil could change faster than the repair to the Gulf and this could go a lot further.
The recovery of the Gulf of Mexico will be long and painful for the many who depend upon it for their lives. I am deeply saddened by this affront to such a beautiful ecosystem and the loss is felt deep in my soul and heart.
Nice. I suppose the worst is yet to come regarding our dependence on oil but as far as the situation in the Gulf goes, The oil will eventually take care of itself and the ecosystem will be fine . People will fish and life will go on.
I hope someday we can all look at this and laugh but I really don't see anytime in the next thousand years that will happen. I just feel for all those anamals that had nothing to do with the greed of this large corp. We sure have done a great job of screwing up our earth have we not? My Great grandmother was a native American and I am glad she not here to see what we did to her planet, our home..
Very funny parody and well crafted lyric. The video is also excellent, loved the O'Reilly snippet .
HOWEVER , I must say that I think this is being blown way out of proportion by the Right-Wing-Media and the Left-Wingers are taking the bait hook, line and sinker.
This is not Hurricane Katrina and while we're all distracted the foxes are in the hen house.
If you feel the same please feel free to copy/ paste, add your own thoughts and spread this POV around .
It's surreal... the horrifying images, the irrefutable data and Billy's dead-on message. Oh my. It will definitely get worse before it gets better. Let's hope that well runs dry and soon. (Where's my prayer rug?) Thank you Billy!
as a Brit living in America - it's all a little embarrassing and a touch worse than all that tea in the harbor the last time our two countries had a little row - hopefully America stays mad at BP not GB (Great Britain) .. nice job, Billy.
Billy, I hope you've sent this off to Tony Hayward. Maybe he can play it on his iPod while he thinks about what he's not going to disclose at the congressional committee hearings.

The whole thing is so heartbreaking. No amount of dollars can ever make up for the destruction this has caused.
