you can use double sided tape to keep the part that droops down on the purse up :D

If you want it to smell a little less, you can take some potpouri and wrap it in cheesecloth and tie the end up and throw it in there and it'll cover the smell a bit, sent obsorbing crystals like they have in some coure cat litters also help a LOT to get rid the smell.
