I can't believe anyone does this using those 12 oz bottles! Use the 2 (or better still) 3 liter bottles! Secondly, don't fill the bottle all the way up with dry ice + water! In a 2 liter bottle, it only takes one inch of crushed dry ice and enough water to get it boiling good (about 1 inch or so). Then to be extra safe, SQUEEZE the bottle before capping it. The result is both safer and much louder!!! Also, safety glasses are highly recommended.
