"You slur over work of the utmost finesse and delicacy, in order to dwell upon sensational details which may excite, but cannot possibly instruct, the reader." (Quote from Sherlock Holmes.) That's exactly what these films do lol. I know a lot of people don't care about the source material though.

If only Arthur Conan Doyle is alive now, he must have been pissed off with these movies. They're making Watson looked cooler than Sherlock. Why do they have to messed up with the characters like what they did in the first movie with Irene Adler, Mary Morstan and Moriarty? Why they don't just acknowledge the original story and just base these movies with the real Sherlock Holmes books!
