coskun1981 he wasnt actually the first, though he did more over his bodyweight than the first man had.
jediknight69 weightlifters generally have to have thick limbs too they cant just be short. It is all just a matter of proportions thought thats how cholokov managed to get a bronze in the superheavyweight class at athens even though he was 6'8 or 6'9
exactly silly, all about psyics, the shorter the staure the more compact the body and the lest distance the weight has to be moved, all about that and fulcrum and leverage. he had the perfect size to be a powerlifter
but he was an olympic weightlifter not a powerlifter
you were on the right track, but even a short person can have bad levers for weightlifting, having great leverage is all about how long or short your limbs are in relation to the rest of your body. it's all relative regardless of your height. Pound for pound strength gradually decreases as you get heavier, this is true for all strength endevours. A 100kg man can't lift as much as a 200kg man, but pound for pound he does well.
naim's sinclair total is 500 kg. rezazede only lifts 472 . naim is number one. rezazede ranks only fifth place. so naim is the best if you compare the all weight classes by using sinclair coefficient. yes he is the best weightlifter of all time.
Height to weight ratio is not used in determining winner however it's still totally relevant. Two men weigh 90kg but one is a foot taller. Both cj 150kg. Taller one has more merit he has less weight in muscle, more in bone. Muscle alone lifts weight, bone supports. This is no apples and oranges comparison. Pocket Herc did 82 pounds more than Berger however Berger was 3 and a half inches taller. Actual MERIT difference was certainly LESS than 82 pounds. This ends my remarks.
I trained in Olympic weightlifting about 45 years ago. (Currently I'm a powerlifter.) There was Alexeev before him and Kono before Alexeev. But no one compares to the "Pocket Hercules ! ! ! " A clean and jerk of 195 kgs, that's 429 lbs., a weight that no American weighing even twice as much could do until very recently. There is greatness and then there is the greatest.
Except if he's compared in a height to weight ratio with Leonidas, he LOSES. Greatest of all time? No. Tom Topham could 2x bodyweight in one arm military press. Derby England circa 1734.
he may be a nationalist (which can be considered a natural outcome of the said repression he faced in his youth) but he's not a Nazi. You shouldn't confuse all nationalist ideologies with Nazism. + If he is to be respected, that won't be because he later became a mayor from this or that party, but because he was one of the few people who were defining the limits of humanity.
ye, but he aint no powerlifter..... tho thats what the sport should be called logically... he has achieved 500 sinclair points, what no one has ever done before. ..

not so much the weight of bones but the increase in distance lifted equals more energy output needed
