@drummerjonny2008 Looks like you don't know much about real metal. The shit you hear on TV isn't metal its metalcore, a generally poor genre, the same as the lame ass 'DnB' you hear on TV. Perhaps before you denounce one of the most skilled genres of music in the world you should learn a little about it first. Many metal songs have 4 or 5 melodies that play simultaneously and are cross-syncopated with eachother. Just like in DnB. Also the 'lyrics' are more so another instrument than anything

If you laud metal so highly then you should learn about the many similarities between Metal and DnB. Namely inter-connecting melodies in various ranges of sound, often simultaneously or very closely linked together. Persistent, but ever changing and evolving bass-lines provide grounding to both genres. If DnB is so easy to make why aren't you a platinum selling artist in the genre?
