um.. it protects the sides and back but not the front.. so obviously if you drop it on the screen (like i saw in the video) you obviously break the iphone..
This case is just ugly to say the least and not functional for everyday use. I have an otterbox defender case for my iPhone 4 and yea it adds some bulk but I can still fit it in my pocket and it protects it incredibly well.
