yeah after watching my older brother play through the old and good Re games on play station,i finally had the chance to play one,got my gamecube and this awesome game plus the play station ones,then RE 4 came out and i got dissapointed in how they changed the horror formula for a shooter one,i guess shooting games make more money =/

Resident Evil games these days are action games.. The magic is gone! :( Resident Evil 1, 0 and Code Veronica were the best RE games in the series!

Is it easy to play like this? Cuz I have Re4 and the gameplay is different because that's the game I started with. Like, how are you supposed to shoot the enemies this way?? Someone plz explain cuz i wanna buy this game

you newbs suck. this and REmake are how resident evil is supposed to be. to those who came late to the series your word isnt as good as long time followers and long time followers want this kind of Resident Evil.

@sosopera ajjaja el play 1 no aguanta esos graficos ni para el año en que me coja a amalia granata, y en la pc puede ser que quepa, y se nota que no sabes nada porque decis "de compu" como si la computadora tuviera graficos de play 1 ;)

Hate to break it to you but no it isn't. You control both characters for the most part, basically you control one while AI handles the other & switch at well. Who you choose to use is based mostly on preference (some rather be Billy the marine just because) but some puzzles will have you seperated to look for a solution. Overall, the AI handles itself well together or seperated in far away room.

This game reminds me a lot of the Alone in the Dark games. The camera angles, the way you fire, even the way the enemies act; it's all similar to the old Dark games. Course, I actually liked Resident Evil a lot mor.

for those who are commenting of the gameplay and the camera, listen. this is the way of how RE originally played. RE4 Wii? its gameplay has been changed. if you guys keep saying this, that means you ARE RE NEWBIE

Buen juego pero es un lio al llegar al CRU (Centro de Reunión de Umbrella) yo uso una guia :P xd lo juego en Wii (no el de GameCube sino el ORIGINAL de la Wii) porke ya lo sacaron ace tiempo, se pode jugar con Wiimote + Nunchuck

because the way the camera was at corners of the room was confusing how are you ment to aim and shot and all that? why cant it be like resident evil 4 wii edition that was awesome

I think this is WAAAAY better than shitty 4, it wrecked the series, like you can collect "money" and buy stuff? WTF? way to break the suspension of disbelief in a horror game.

I really wish you had the option to stretch wide screen though. there is no excuse for that in a newer game, even if it is a emulated Gamecube game.

@sausagenmuff Hell no! RE4 is awesome in its own right. I loved the fact that you could buy things. Then again, I never played the first ones (Which I plan on doing soon.) And if anything, the gameplay in this one puts me off. Notice I'm not calling it shitty. I'm merely saying it looks confusing.
