just a harmonic anthem...but it doesn't have vigor nor any bit of joy...seems to be a night funeral...disappointing at all...because the Marianas's people are plenty of life gane...& it ain't reflected in this national song...however I still love this song...so forget the bad things I've said about this music

The CNMI is a territory of the United States, not an independent country. I demand the people of the Marianas to stop and desist referring to this song as a National Anthem or else we will have to be force to call in the Marines! The United States government will not tolerate any acts of lawlessness or blatant attempts of sedition!
Yavoll! (Rotflmao!) Der Shrubbenfuerher has returned to Crawford.....they have their village idiot back! Most US states have their own "State anthems" so do our territories. It is not seditious or unpatriotic to have pride in your home state/commonwealth. Intolerance of dissent however as espoused by the Busheviks is not only unpatriotic, it is UNAMERICAN

A german folk song named 'Im schönsten Wiesengrunde' has the same melody, search for the song's name on youtube.
Maybe that's because half of the Northern Marina Islands became a german territory in 1899 for two decades.

The CNMI is not an Independent Nation,it is a Commonwealth of the U.S,so this is actually the Island Anthem.
