Prohibition of alcohol never worked. How would prohibition of firearms, or more specifically - handguns, work any better? When alcohol was outlawed, people still found a way to smuggle it in. And being illegal, it caused a large, violent, underground black market. Making handguns or any gun illegal IS no different. There is proof of it everywhere you look. Handguns are illegal in the UK, but people still manage to get them don't they?
Maybe a better idea would be to not leave people defenseless and let law-abiding people without criminal records to own most firearms like we can here in the United States.

This vid unintentionally highlights the human will that is the root of the violence, not the gun. The shooters don't have a gun in their hand, so we never see one. But we do still witness human intent and willfull actions. Human will is the problem, but you can't ban it. So you naively try to ban the "evil" instrument. When you disarm the good, law abiding people in a society rendering them defenceless violence will rise. Just as it is doing in the UK. Hey, Im actually in this advert and when filming it Brett the director made it very clear how easy it is to use guns these days and i hope after watching this that guns are childs play and someone who carrys one might think they are big and bad and possibly say they wont use one but when your adrenaline starts pumping you never have a clear head and can easily use one as shown. Its 2 seconds of not thinking and a life time of regret!

This vid unintentionally highlights the human will that is the root of the violence, not the gun. The shooters don't have a gun in their hand, so we never see one. But we do still witness human intent and willfull actions. Human will is the problem, but you can't ban it. So you naively try to ban the "evil" instrument. Consider: Britain was full of guns, bullets, tanks, planes etc during WW2. But the guns didn't exercise a free will. Only obeyed. Do you blame the hammer for a badly built house?

It seems many people have been moved by this film. It's creator should be justifiably pleased. This film has been in circulation for almost four months. The TV show's were informative and interesting. The anti knife march in London at the weekend was presumably a positive experience for those involved.

its the mixed race in britian you get turks and polish and arabs who live i sh;tholes come over here and treat this country sh;t. our youth have seen how they live and protect themself and they have to becomed arm to feel safe we need to sort this mixed race out. i love england and we need to sort this out all i can say is the older generation dont feel scared of the youths me and all my mates would never think of stabbing or shooting another person

.... 20 years ago it would have been next to impossible for any of these street punks to actually get a hold of a firearm but somehow over the last decade its changed dramatically. Supposedly the first people to start importing mass amounts of illegal firearms in the UK was yardies, now they are coming from all over the world.

Anyway all this "The UK is more dangerous" crap came from a dodgy UN report last year. How can you actually determine how dangerous a place is by unreliable figures. Example - Do you honestly think that police in J'burg south africa are going to take a mobile phone theft as serious as the MET police when they are dealing with upto 20 murders a DAY? i very much doubt it. The majority of people in cities with a high murder rate and stretched police force wouldnt even report it

Btw i meant there was around 750 - 800 in the UK last year. The majority of them were knifes or sharp instruments. Gun crime and violent crime in the UK is over dramatised by the medie. For example, London has over 7,000,000 people and averages about 200 murders a year, giving it a lower murder rate per 100,000 than nearly every city in the US.

770 murders from guns?? errr try about 60. there was 750 - 600 murders in the UK last year. full stop. Nearly all of them firearm offences will be possession, people getting caught with bullets, attempted murder etc etc
