I try and be chill but seriously at :046 - fuck those people. fuck them in their illiterate asses. There's a whole beach and a goddamn walking path and these people stand there pointing around at shit. fuck those people hard. Ok, I feel better now.
I don't know why people walk on a "bike path'. That is most annoying part of riding there. They are surprised that we get annoyed with them. At least stay to the side.
lol, yes, there is a lot of near-accidents, all the time. In this video I don't recall almost hitting anyone, but it has happened before. Specially cause lots of pedestrians use the bike path (where it says Only Bikes) and pay no attention at all. But I guess this makes the ride more fun, right? :P
Yah, I am using the official Flip camera mount. It isn't the best solution ever, I had to improvise a little bit to make it steady, but it worked. I know there are some tutorials here at youtube to make your own mounts. Let me know if are interested in them so I can link you.
@951tony I just posted a video made with the camera resting on the handlebar on some rubber foam . Rode the bike with one hand on the handlebar and the other hand holding the camera. The video is titled - 'Beach Bike Ride'.

I'd be cruising it much slower, enjoying the space...but I can see a bit of cool stuff watching.
Enjoy yourself! It's beautiful!

If you live in LA and can ride a bike to work, you have life by the tail. Congratulations.

Is the camera mounted on the handlebar?

I am thinking about mounting a camera to my bike when I ride. I like the Kodak Zi6 HD camera. Candy bar style just like the Flip but bulkier.
