Everyone look... at 6:24 ! This is the difference between the barcelona team and the argentina national team... ¿HOW ON EARTH DID MESSI KNOW HE HAD TO START RUNNING????? HOW???? it's like the goal against estudiantes... somehow messi knows exactly when to run to receive from alves... incredible!
@rodrigo1553 yeah that's my point... people saying Messi just gets great passes etc. are missing the fact that he offers himself in good positions to receive the ball, Messi's one-two's are amazing, his vista and football intelligence at times is out of this world. He helps create the assists he receives, for example the 2nd goal vs Arsenal 2nd leg, his through ball to Abidal was amazing, here the 2nd goal as well he starts running on his own half as soon as Alves gets the ball..
@rodrigo1553 ...cont- Messi's performances may be overhyped by media but his overall ability is sometimes underrated, he's a winger-striker-playmaker all in one
@gggggsa1 the defense is fine!!! what's wrong with this team is ibrahimovic!!! when he plays not only he doesn't play but also he doesn't let play!!! the moment zlatan left the pitch barça's attacking issues got solved with an actually mobile attack!!!! think about it...against inter they put the whole team working to cut the passing lines to messil(at san ciro that bitch referee was covering for inters fouls) where the fuck was everyone else in attack? pedro scored!! where the fuck was zlatan?
Obviously those who haven't played football themselves don't truely undestand the greatness of Messi. When I saw him first time under 20 WC I knew this 16 years old kid would be world best player someday. It is his touch to the ball, its just amazing, only Maradona had same gift.
yes i know messi is amazing and yes i know he is the best of the world, but theres something that makes me be a little depressed, and that thing is that he doesnt do all those tricks that he did before, he was awesome and still is but not the same way, i mean, now hes better with his shots, and passing, more intelligent, but hes not the same, as i said he doesnt do all tricks that he did before... he doesnt go passing four or five men of the other team like always
@gabrieldelgadowong well, even if a agree with you, in the other hand, is a sign of his maturity as a team player. Now he knows he cannot risk the ball and knows exactly when to spread his magic. Greest !
@TanenaT He is an incredible player, but I disagree with your last sentence. I'd say of great goal scorers only Pele and Maradona had this same gift. Also, I'm a Barca and Messi fan, but to truly go down in history, he is going to need to perform for Argentina, also -- note that Pele and Maradona performed for both their clubs and their countries.
@jerel42 If George Best hadn't been Irish, he'd be the best in the World. Messi plays just like Best did in a way, fast, impossibly good touch, great finish and knew how to play a team game as well.
@scaryninja1693 What do you mean, if Best hadn't been Irish? Can you explain? I can say that Best was a truly astonishing talent, he just did things that were magic, really. You may be right that he could have been the best ever. Certainly he was one of the best ever, that seems hard to argue with. Like Pele and Maradona, he had amazing touch, vision, and creativity. I count myself lucky to have seen him play live, even though when I saw him play he was well beyond his prime.
@jerel42 I mean if he'd been of a nationality with more international football success. Therefore gaining success on the World stage, as well as great club level respect, as World Cup performances seem to be essential to the majority of peoples opinions on who the Worlds best players are. Rest assured I have no problem with the Irish, his birth place is no stain on his ability, or indeed his hilarious sense of humour. "I spent most of my money on women and booze, the rest I just squandered" :D!

First off, everybody hates valdes bc he is such a loser esp when they lost to inter and what he did with mourinho.. hes is a sadbaby. and 2nd i like how the uniceft sign actually plays a big part in the game.. and i dont wonder why messi scores so much, i mean just amazing passes that he gets. and obviously hes a great talent but saying he is better than ronaldo is just wrong.. its ur opinions ppl (biased most of the time = for obvious reasons) but yeah messi is some good stuff.
@elMagicoMessi10@Naser0east0side If you're trying to minimize Messi's performances by saying he scores thanks to "amazing passes", that's just rubbish. Half his goals this season came from individual actions, others were assisted and also only 1 penalty (before someone tries this argument). The 1st goal in this game is his amazing perception yes, 'cause you can hardly say Ibra's header was a deliberate assist.
@elMagicoMessi10 2nd goal came off an amazing assist by Dani Alves, I agree, but if you watch closely Messi started running the second Alves received the ball (around center of pitch), how many other forwards in the world would put in that much effort in an action so far from opponent's area? Messi's vista and intelligence help create the assists he gets, because what good is being the best passer in the world if you don't have anywhere to play to?
@Skorenzy but barça needs other attacking obtions, just messi who isn't a 9 and occasionaly pedro and bojan aren't enough!! by blocking messi with everything they had at san ciro all there was left was pedro to score and at camp nou PIQUÉ had to come all the way up to do it!! where the FUCK was zlatan??? HE SUCKS DOESN'T ANYONE SEE THAT??? what barça needs is david villa or luis fabiano to be at zlatan's place!!! so that the team that block messi well have other problems to worry as well!!!
@boss180888 yeah i agree, or they shoulda kept Eto'o, worked perfectly. Though strangely enough Barça have a better record than last year (only 1 loss in La Liga so far!!) which means Messi has had to step up to cover the holes in offense. I would have opted to make Messi center forward in 2nd leg vs Inter, because everytime he plays in support of Ibra he gets less scoring opportunities himself (and with his accuracy he would be better choice than Ibra at the moment)...
@elMagicoMessi10 Not even mentioning Messi's awesome ball control on his 2nd goal, because most would waste that anyways. That being said the Barcelona midfield is an incredibly important factor, but I disagree with people that claim Messi just scores the goals, he does a lot more (team)work than for example CR.
@elMagicoMessi10 Actually... just watch two or three moves from messi and you will see de Inmense differences that separate him from every other player in the world!!... it's just amazing...
@elMagicoMessi10 agreed, people act like ronaldos playing with fucking west brom around him, the team cost aroudn300 million and is full of superstars and people say messis only good because of his team! having a laugh
People going like Huigain, Xabi Alosno, Casillas, Raul Abiol, Ramos, Van Der Vaart, kaka, Granero, Marcelo and Guti are just average players, not the world class players they actually are! Like you said 250 million spend building that team! They are hardly average are they :)
Messi was 2nd player in the world (after Kaka) when he scored overal only 16 goals and Barca had not very good season. But couches and captains voted for him because of his game was one of the best.
I LOVE this part (6:28-6:32)

Of course without good team u will not score 44 goals in one season. It's obvious.
But when I say Messi is better than CRonaldo I say about his GAME. And he doesnt need to score 44 goals to make me understand that.
