And ya know what, my strategy when it comes to computers, is that I own a regular size laptop, and a netbook-size laptop as my backup plan in case of computer failure. If a BSoD comes up, I would just copy data onto an external hard drive or something.
I know how to work with computers. In fact, I'm even contemplating the idea of building a homemade boombox powered off a computer power supply housed in a computer that uses a car stereo as circuitry and a control panel. I also play video games as well. I know alot about stuff.
Not staying on for more then a few minutes? Probably the motherboard, the capacitors could be faulty, actually just happened to my computer. The capacitors started to... explode, it worked for a while during that (I was unaware) and then it eventually refused to turn on... And so I took a look inside, and all the capacitors on the board where cracked and leaking. Finally got it replaced after around 6 months.

Not staying on for more then a few minutes? Probably the motherboard, the capacitors could be faulty, actually just happened to my computer. The capacitors started to... explode, it worked for a while during that (I was unaware) and then it eventually refused to turn on... And so I took a look inside, and all the capacitors on the board where cracked and leaking. Finally got it replaced after around 6 months.

@WaiSoAshen the school may actually spend those money on something admirable, a good cause. She on the other hand, she wants funds to buy a fucking computer, a pointless cause. The first example is people coming together to help on a noble cause, the second being to help a spoiled youtube-reviewing girl. No they don't, because the school isn't doing anything with "sentimental value", making it impossible for idol-worshipping to begin with.
I'm not denying anything.

@BigDog91527 hmm you make a good point, however...you seem to be ignoring the fact that buying something from someone doesnt make it worship. And funds for a computer isnt really pointless, considering the modern times. but that depends on how you look at it.
And why cant the school make the money itself? besides 'taking advantage of the students' as you desperately insist that rinry is doing.

@WaiSoAshen I've already expalined why it makes it just that.The fact that something costs money does in no way mean it isn't idol-worshipping,quite opposite it's idol-worshipping on a whole new level.
Funds for materialistic things is pointless on an bigger scale,Im not saying it's pointless to her personally.Its pointless compared to supporting science against deadly diseases for example.
The school could do that, but the beauty in it is to do it all together. It's completly different.

@BigDog91527 well being compared to science, charity, etc. it is pointless, but the amount of money used for funding in this case is much much less, so it balances out.
And worship and support are different. Im sure there are some people out there that do worship her, but buying an item from her is just support. Worship is more of regarding to something sacred, beyond praise.
its not so different, beauty is an opinion. Someone can think that rinry being supported by her fans is also beautiful

Considering what the item is we can conclude that it's worship. It's pretty close to being sacred when something as godawful as a DAMAGED sportsgame is being sold like this. Compare it to for how much these games go on the market and you'll se how worthless they really are.

considering the item, it could just be admiration, or being a creeper. Worship is still on a different scale. And you dont seem to understand that the fact that it's damaged is irrelevant to its current value at this point. Like a piece of paper: worthless at first, then celebrity signs it: the value rises. even if the paper is slightly ripped, the signature is still there, retains value.

@WaiSoAshen ofcourse you can't make an untrue statement true by convincing someone it is, it will keep being incorrect. All that needs to be done is for that person to search it up and come to the conclusion that someone else invented it.
This however is a total different matter,since its more of a philosophical question of right vs wrong. If we agree that selling autographs is wrong, then i have a case for arguing that this is wrong too.If we don't then obviously i cant persuade that person.

Its actually quite similar. A person the wants to buy something gives money, and in turn, gets feedback in the form of material items, or services.
