I remember Robert showing us how to do robot moves when we were kids living across the street from them back in the early 80's. I just read in the paper today about Lorene's passing, and it's got me remembering those times. She was so nice to us. They both were. They had a big collection of old-fashioned toys. I thought that was so awesome.

Why else would anyone refer to dancers as a "special effect?" It's a clear referance to sci-fi & horror movies that do a bad job of flying things on wires.

These two got MANY people into bottin back in the day. Their routines were inventive, hilarious and given the time frame unique. Its easy to scream on these vids when viewing them through a new millenium lens.
