I own both consoles and many games on ps3 like the ones I mention and others are very short.
also look at pc, games are made on dvd, you can find HUGE WORLDS in many pc games specially mmo etc and all fit on dvd.

Bluray carries 50 gigabytes.
DVD9 carries 8 gigabytes, not 15. You can tell that DVD9 really fucked up GTA4.
