The app store is full of crappy flash like games. while you play those horrible games like modern combat 1 and 2, the ds players get to play games like call of duty modern warefare. gta chinatown wars is on the ipod, yeah yeah but the damn ipod has no buttons...lol that basically takes away from the experience. most of iphone games are clones and ripoffs anyway. unlike the iphone, the ds has a lot of original titles, which is why the ds is label as one of the greatest consoles of all time.

@itv300 i'm judging that on games and the reception it received by the media, they said it themselves. the games alone makes it the one of the greatest gaming machine ever, since it offer up verity. iphone? actual games don't even use the iphone or take it seriously as a dedicated gaming machine. why don't you go and look over the library of nintendo ds games, to get a idea on why the ds is so great.

The only gripe I have with this DS version, is that you can't map controls. For me it would make a lot more sense to have the L button as a trigger for the cannon, that way you could aim with the stylus and shoot simultaneously with L making timing much more precise, other than that ther defintitely is no gameplay quality lost in this awesome DS conversion!

Having bought iPod Peggle (for my new iPod Nano) I can safely say that it's a great portable version of Peggle for $6. However, (not to scare people away) the frame rate can get ridiculously slow at many points and you're FORCED to use a credit card to buy it (if you live in Canada). Other than that, highly recommend it to anyone with an iPod who likes Peggle.

my recommendation is get through the normal game and get to peggle nights straight away. I just got around 300,000 on 1 shot. The nights levels are MADE for scoring, they're very forgiving.

Super long shot, turned into double long shot, turned into extreme slide, getting the orange bonus thing as well as hitting the purple peg. I almost wet myself when got that
