  • Good advise. Before I watched this, I used what you call "method 1". By the way, the "speed walk" Blob Studios on his website has a tutorial for it but he calls it running. So it was used before!

  • thank you!!! i would be so bad at walking that in my old lego videos i would just sneak in just not move the legs and skip the studs when it wasnt as visible

  • how many pictures does it take to fit into one second? if so should you tape down or glue the baseplate so it doesnt move?

  • to animating with lego you needs so much patients. and needs to be neat or ells it wont look good. chek out my youtube channel labrick1

  • Random question, how do you keep the platform he's on from moving...I have this problem most of the time when I try to animate.

  • @LoneWolfProductions9 i would stick it down with tape or blue tack at the corners but dont use to much

  • can they only walk on lego studs because in ur movie there isnt any studs so how do you make them walk without the studs?

  • So how do you actually combine all the pictures into an animation?

  • @mikesm123 yes

  • @mikesm123 go on windows movie maker or download monkey jam or something then take the pictures and put them on the program and stream them REEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY fast. (15fps)

  • can you do a tutorial on motion blur? ive seen it on some tutorials but when ive tried it, it usually turns the entire video blurry instead of slightly blending the frames. by the way i use Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

  • Thanks a lot. I took an hour last time to make a lego figure walk 20 microseconds.

  • do you use still pictures or a quick recordings on a camcorder to make the animation?

  • Great tutorial man, thanks a lot.

  • Hey dude. Are you going to do a video on how to move a LEGO minifigures head move like you used in PIRATES. That would be really cool. Mine look jumpy Yours are so smppth when they move.

Do you have any special way of making them actually run? or is there just the quick walk?
