Whole thing takes 30-40 seconds. After you reach 16 you cash in quests as much as you need to get to lvl17. And then all then way to 20 with bandits again :)

I'm not sure if this is THE fastest way to reach 20, but it's far better then most BS I've seen. You can 100% do this in under 72 hours of playtime, cause that's how long it took me. Consider that I did boss runs, trades, chit-chat etc ;P

Farming whatever and collecting armor is a waste of time if only LDoA is concern.

Just reach lvl2 and do Charr at the gate or better yet get somebody to power lvl you with boss runs. This depends on your luck and communication skill, but I never had a problem getting a puller. After lvl10 you just do VQ's until farmer hamnit comes up. This is where you farm XP. You just run out from Foible's Fair and kill 2 first spawn bandits. There's a monk who will heal and maybe even tank you. Then repeat

took me 3 months to get from 1 to 20. in pre. day 1. i got to lvl 6. day 2. i got to lvl 9. day 3. i got to 10. day 4 i got to 11. day 6. i got to 12. day 8 i got to 13. day 11 i got to 14. day 15 i got to 15. day 22 i got to 16. 1month i was at 17. by month 2 i was at 18. month 3 i was at 19. did all the quests. got about 95% to lvl 20, death lvled for about 2 more days. and boom, lvl 20. note, i death lvled every day, and every night. 24/7 by luring charr to the shrine in the northlands.

titles in GW are kind of lame, it should give you a legendary armor set or something for getting LDOA, easier to show off and free max weaps so you arent paying like 2000 platinum to get the trophy armor or w/e (well you probably will anyways but at least you have a max set before going to droks, I mean you can buy maxed weaps in fricking old ascalon)

1- from 6-11 goes way faster by doing quest "charr at the gate" over and over. (abandon and repeat)

2- it takes 30 minutes get arroudn 10 charr at the shrine = 4-8% a night.

3 - boss runs are not that boring! :D Serious death lvling sucks.

4 - if u do day and night. with double account u cna get ldoa in a few weeks!

5 - at 19 all quests rewards wont make u lvl 20! but more like 70%. and if u did a few quests for nice rewards. (charr shield) it's 60%. so still deathlvling to do ^^

its 5 minutes to kill the 4 charr bosses including all the guys around them, lets you 5%xp per 2 runs from 14->15 (5% per 10 minutes, and yeh 15->16 isnt much more fun either ). nice guide though, absolutely hilarious.

A friendly piece of advice for the mid-levels. From levels 5-10 you can do Charr at the Gate over and over, it's way faster than just killing the bull (which you can also do en route).

well for me at level 16 (assuming i pulled charr) it could take anywhere from 4-8 hours

all depends on how many groups pulled... how big the dominate group is... etc etc..

i typically do 3 groups of 3-4

killing them when they hit 16

this gets me out of the DL run in about 14 hours or so

This guide shows some of the stuff, but only the long way to LDoA.

1) You should start killing charr the moment *regular* monsters not in the Northlands give you no experience.

2) When the Charr bosses stop giving you a significant amount of experience, it's time to death level. Not by the one-monster routine, but by charr stacking (search for more info). 900+ xp per session is better than 100.

The title is pretty much for your own enjoyment. The only bragging rights you get is that you spent 20 minutes a day letting charr mow down guards then killing your naked character over and over again. Also, with titles that give you in-game benefits, this won't even be active most of the time. I'd say go for Legendary Survivor, but if you already have one and no other objectives on GW, go ahead on Defender.

On the plus side, the EotN title monument is much prettier than the survivor one.

1. You forgot the quest you can get from Rurik...

(3 or 4 level 5 and 1 or 0 level 4 enemies)

2. the level 5 enemies behind the gate

much faster than killing only 1 enemy, getting back to outpost, take a walk, killing the enemy again...

3. You should not go back to Ascalon when the bosses are killed! Get killed(only 1 way), go through the gate, go again to charrland and kill the bosses. and so on and on....

--> you don't have to walk to the gate and you keep the +8% / 10% bonus!

on the way to level 16 it is better to play with some1 in a team. you will lose half of the exp to this person, but the enemies are killed faster this way. The only reasons not to build a team: you don't want to share the drops/there is no such a player available/...

when you start deathleveling you are stronger than before. you don't need the bonus - you don't want it, more hp = more time needed. ->Get a monkey,start deathleveling,kill the bosses, go to town!

you can kill the rogue bull when your lvl 1 if you're an ele - use the 2nd skill (aura of restoration) and then just keep spamming flare. Then kill all the surrounding mobs, you'll see a hill thingy going up... go up there and hang a right, go all the way down it until you get to the firestarter encampment.

abandon the mesmer quest in ascalon (and sell the other crap) then repeat. this is one of the easiest ways to get to level 5 quickly and effectively.

To do that, you would have to kill bosses to recharge your res sig (there are no hard resses in pre). It was possible to get both titles because of a glitch with the GH, but you cant anymore.
