  • This would be a way better national anthem

  • Should play this song and have the British army march down London, while shooting and kicking out every single immigrant.

  • I love this song, and love the British Army throughout all its history...but isn't the battle of bunker hill a bad choice for one celebrating their achievements?

  • @thestarsandbars I don't think so. Im pretty sure they only started wearing Bearskin hats after the battle of Waterloo 1815 when they captured them from the retreating French Imperial guard.

  • @dog75k Yes that is correct.

  • Great song, terrible historically inaccurate picture. British grenadiers during that time period were wearing the bear skin hats, not the traditional cloth mitre...

  • God save HM the Queen

  • If I'm not mistaken this is a painting of the Grenadiers charging up Breed's Hill on the Charlestown peninsula, what we Americans call the Battle of Bunker's Hill. "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes".

  • @BiggTodd8932, Most certainly true but a historian in any and every regard must never reflect standards and values on past actions in order to make an objective and emotionless critique. In this regard there was quite a lot of sense to them, there was a reason why the line infantry tactics lasted all the way from the Thirty Year's War to WWI.

  • J'adore ^^ even though i'm French.

  • @BiggTodd8932, you do know I was being sarcastic right? To be fair the bright uniforms were so that you could distinguish your troops for your opponents clearly also strong line formations existed to create protection from opposing cavalry and to allow mass volleys so there was some sense to it, granted very little but at least some...

  • @fishbob1193 Of course, as was I. The military strategists of the day weren't stupid, if it worked, it worked. It's still quite easy to poke fun at it though, as it makes little sense to us in this day and age.

  • Bah! The Yanks didn't fight as gentlemen! How dare they not want to stand in a nice neat line, stood up straight while shooting at their enemy? How can you prefer hiding and firing from trees like a coward to some nice cold steel! Bloody Yanks, you didn't fight fair!

  • @fishbob1193 Yes well, the European fighting style always seemed a bit nutty to me. Rows and rows of men wearing bright red uniforms held up by white suspenders that made a perfect target on their chest, standing straight out in the open with no cover. Did they want to die?

  • 4 french

  • Battalion Advance!!

  • My teacher asked me to show what I thought best represented: loyalty, honor, respect, courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood. I played this exact video for the whole class... the teacher couldn't think of how to respond.

  • @ronaldweasleyfan55 nice :D well done!

  • @ronaldweasleyfan55 You're a British Grenadier son!

  • fuck of french cunt we beat u at waterloo

  • @viper3944, Waterloo is more of a German victory.

  • Check spelling "Bunker Hill" oh and you have spelt it wrong if you follow the proper English langauge.

  • @ADZ01982 "langauge"? What's that, some French dish? XP

  • I'm just fine with the fact we lost at Bunker HIll, but we had a great turkey shooting. Picking off lobster backs is what we do best. LOL.

    no offense intended.

  • @expertstrategy Check spelling of "offense" idiot.

  • @ADZ01982, I spelt "offense" correctly.

    Try again.

  • @expertstrategy I honestly don't think it is "What you did best". Britain won 95% of battles in that war, America just won some of the Critical ones, but of course, with the help of the French, Native Americans, and some Spanish and end war Germans, of course. Not to mention, If the Americans actually fought fairly, In line Battles, America would be in the Commonwealth of Nations today.

    No offence intended.

  • @501darth, Yes, that's very true. Our army was very crappy and George Washington wasn't the best commander we had. Out in the open field, we usually did badly.

  • @expertstrategy Indeed. I must say, though, The Minuetmen were very good, but the actual conventional earfare at the time is where they lacked, the stance being that the British were highly trained, Versus Jim the Farmer and Joe who runs the General Store, And a hunter or two. But, I must hand it to the Original Americans, they did Hold off the British for a while, and, won their Country.

  • One guy is American one is French.

  • viva la britian viva la france from america

  • Proud to be an American with Celtic blood running through my Veins! Long Live Britannia!

  • 3 guys are french :D

  • @TheFtenkmann Don't be stupid. I'm french & this march is one of my favorites...

  • That's probably the battle of Bunker Hill. We repulsed the British twice, and the only reason we lost the battle was because we ran out of ammo. Our boys had a good turkey shooting though.

My respect for the brave British with balls of steel for marching up the hill while under heavy musket fire.

  • @expertstrategy, Hold your fire 'till you see the Whites of Their Eyes- Colonel William Prescott

  • @holmesbinton, yeah, I've heard about that.

  • @Ameilleur1

    Je t'aime! ;) ;)

  • @Ameilleur1 No, I believe you are the one on the receiving end. In case anyone is interested, this Ameilleur1 is BOT the best nor even close to the best of anything except, when he paraded around BEST OF SHOW as Little Doggie ( b1naqm28 ) or walked the catwalk as Mlle. WASPy ( b2mnaq53 ) .This is the most recent reincarnation of the canine and an unshaved fashion model.

Kevin is a fine young man with good upbringing, an astute mind and a serious student.

    Ameilleor1 = "looser" & bad speller!

  • @4BlocksE2ndOnRight

Thank you for your comment, 4BlocksE2ndOnright. It means a lot.

  • God save the Queen and her colonies!

  • @Kevinsufacation Kevin, I'm under the impression that this creepy old man is trying to do harm to you. If he gets more creepy or problemsome, I suggest you contact youtube about having his account caneled, but he is also using b2mnaq53, so he would probably pick up his harrassment from that channel.

He is lonely and looking for friends on the net. I have recommended that he find a lonely hearts chat line in Montreal.

  • @4BlocksE2ndOnRight

His comments make me chuckle. His emotions make me smile. Due to the fact that, his obsession gives my videos more views and comments. I should not complain. :)

  • @Kevinsufacation Good point

  • No, they are not french . They are all british, becouse in the

  • The country of Edward the first, the Duke of Marlborough, Henry the VIII, William Shakespeare , Oliver Cromwel,James Wolfe, England,

A real Jewel of Europe, we must rise against our extinction, regain our lands and our countries back from the invaders and the internationalists.

Heil to Britain, Britain only for British.

  • @Napoleontas Im not British but the Internationalists must go.

  • I cant stop listening to this thing. It just makes me want to march in red!

  • I'm British and I have a love hate relationship with Empire. I hate that we felt the need to conquer and the actions that followed, but I like that we have made our mark on the world (in a positive way, standing up to agression in WWI and Hitler and co. in WWII). I understand that people hate us however that is fair enough, but we weren't all lothesome and we are nice today! I am half British and half Swedish, if it matters, but I will always stick up for Britain!

  • The best version I have heard in a long time very triumphant GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

  • god save the queen!

  • Ah...fighting for his majesty and married to brown bess...what a glorious life indeed

  • 2 guys are french

  • @beidlgsicht no worries, that just means they have surrendered

  • @TheFatAmericans1 Touche

  • @TheFatAmericans1 War is sweet to those who have never experienced it

  • @jared201345

Child please. give us another chance and it and we'll give those colonials a jolly good hiding and be back in England for tea and scones in no time

  • @TheFatAmericans1 I think you're missing the point. If you were actually in one of these battles, you'd be screaming and crying for your mother

  • Nothing beats having nothing against either the British, Americans or French :D Woohoo!

  • im american and though, i gotta admit, this must be the best version of one of the best marches ive ever heard

  • @semperFi4ever100 i love the version the brits play in the movie The Patriot *mel gibson one*

    i think battle of camden.

  • @CallOfDutyAustralia I always thought it was supposed to be the battle of Cowpens?

  • Greetings from America.....p.s. to you Brits who dont like your queen........why do you think Britain is the only nation worth something with a monarch still loved by the country.......maybe cuz British monarchs actually cared for the well being of their ppl. Sure king George III needed a beat down but all in all Britain is quite a good country..... so stop being treason mongers...

  • @MrJonneypro Since Charles I monarchs can be charged with treason as well, I have no quarrels with Elizabeth Windsor though or her husbands jovial racism(the world wouldn't be as funny without the Duke of Edinburgh). I like the way people can take the piss out of every part of the establishment and not be put in prison for it. If you pay for something you can say what you want about it.

I'm not really opposing anything you wrote, just randomly elaborating.

  • @EbsNhexz I always find it funny that he is referred to as "phil the greek" as a derogatory name but that's ok, as long as he doesn't do the same! Double standards?

  • @DerMitten That's the beauty of the `jovial racism` I mentioned. It can be thrown back and forth without evoking any hard feelings...or sense.

  • @MrJonneypro I think George III is often treated unfairly: The poor sod inherited America from his father; it wasn't his decision to 'conquer' it and rule as a tyrant- he was under enormous pressure to keep this big chunk of land for the British government- what was he meant to do, just give it away because a bunch of Americans compalined about having to pay tax?

In this country (Britain), he's remembered more for suffering from severe mental problems than for losing America.

  • @brwhizz It's not like George III was active in prosecuting the war at any rate - that was Parliament. It's easier to blame the guy in the ermine cape than a few hundred sitting in the House of Commons or Lords.

  • The colonial americans tried to resolve their differences through peaceful means but the British ruler, the tyrant King George 3 who was taxing these people out of their existance refused to negotiate an outcome with them. Then his magnificant armies failed to defeat the inspired and brilliantly led continental armies led by Lt. Gen. Washington and Maj Gen. Greene. I am Australian with a British military history in my family but I firmly beleive the americans deserved to win their independence

  • @desertstar987 Infact they did not, it was the french with a tad bit of help from the traitors thast beat the british force stationed there which was not large

  • @desertstar987 here! here! America still love Britain though!

  • @desertstar987

George III was nearing senility, I wonder what George IV would have done differently had he been prince-regent at that.

  • @PLASKEplop whole north europe has a connection

  • there is one person who is most certainly a traitor to the crown

  • @MoonstompingMike1985 either that or they are French ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Hah. Bunker Hill. lol.

  • @Tanks2000 Yes.. that was hardly a raging success was it ?

What about Camden ? Now that was serious ouch time for you yankee scum.
