  • do you know the model number on this?

  • Usually up to 72hrs to get the movement to go to sleep mode. the hands stop and disengage and the date keeps advancing due to the pre programmed time in the movement. When you shake the watch it wakes up and the hands set to the current time.

  • hi,

how long have you wait until the watch goes to sleep mode?

    24 hours or 72 hours?

because i have the same watch , but mine doesn't go to sleep mode after 35 hours.

do you think mine is broken?

    thanks...

  • @brave3333

well mine goes after 24 hours. he says that it lasts for 6 months but mine can last for 4 years with a full charge

  • i have the seiko windward kinetic, i just got it used in a trade from a friend

i dont really understand how to set it and if it can do the same thing as yours is in the video??? if it has an auto set feature then whats the dial and button on the side of the face for?

  • I think it's actually 72 hours of inactivity, well idk it might be because you have the kinetic, i have a battery powered one.

  • Yeah I think all the Kinetics go to sleep after 24 hours of inactivity.

  • Def. 2 hrs of inactivity.

  • Does this watch have a sweeping second hand? I would like to know, thanks!

  • no the second hand ticks

  • NO. the second hand sleeps as well. the only thing that advances is the date. when you wake it up, the hour and minute hands adjust and then the second hand sweeps into place and starts ticking.
