Russian Marine Corps? LOL jk fuck Russia. WOOT WOOT CANADA! I'm joining the United States Marine Corps when I'm 18. Hm... I'm going to lookup some Canadian military videos, looks interesting.
And while I served in the CF as an NCO while getting both my degrees...the RMC band acquits themselves quite honourably. Now if only they were about 100 or so in number it'd be even better.

Why do they gotta wear the redcoat like the British even today? What about green for nature? Lets change it! The Aussies and the Kiwis have changed their colors been commonwealth.
those are scarlets, they are only worn on parades and special occasions, there are several units in the Canadian forces that wear those styles, and there are different kinds and colours. the colours were given to them by the royal family and wont be changed until the royal family decides to change it. the cf is very heritage based.

Speaking of it being heritage based, and the colors given by some English family, what is this doing in a multicultural Canada. This is not good for some Asians to be wearing these colours. They should have changed this when Canada changed the structure of the
armed forces to make it Canadian. This is British, not Canadian, and no Chinese need to be wearing this.
guess you havent looked at our money lately, canada is a common wealth contry and the royal family still is still the head of state for canada. they cant tell us what to do, but they can stop us from doing it, even though that hasnt been done since before WWII.
the canadian military has strong ties to the royal family, and arent going to change the way we look and how we do things just because of some P.O'd asain guy who doesnt even live here. everyone that joins the CF is given options, no one said they had to wear the scarlets, they chose to.

1st off you're at the RMC....FUCKIN COOL! I envy you (for now).I'm still in high school...but what is the actual process of getting into the college? Requirements,time of inscription....etc.I'd be forever grateful.
