I bought this album when it first came out. I had been a Mayall fan for a few years. I got to see this band at the Kiel Opera House in St. Louis I think it was 1972. One of my favorite concerts of all time.
This album and song in particular, instilled the love of blues in me and my brother! My mom used to play it all the time on her big old stereo. No stereo has come close to the bass that old thing had. Thank you for posting this on YouTube!
i have the Lp "USA" union bitching album i will transfer the music to cd and put some video.... does anybody knows the song "where did my legs go " well is coming up soon.... and this video .. country road.... cruise on my bike .... f...... .the world... one hell of song this...!.
One of several fine albums Mayall made with the great Freddy Robinson on guitar. This lineup was a refreshing departure from Mayall's typical groups - Mayall was the major blues mentor for many British guitar greats including Eric Clapton and Peter Green and many others.
@1953jazzman Mayall influenced sooooo many artists, including myself, have been listening to the bluesbreakers since 66, and playing harp since 1969, this is 42nd year i have been playing, and will play til i leave this planet!!!! keep the blues alive, peace, Ron
@1953jazzman i always thought this was clapton on the guitar, i looked it up and it seems you're right... clapton or robinson, it's one of the greatest guitar solos ever! thanks for setting that right for me
I love John Mayall's music, but this album is the best !!!!
and let me said that this song is one of my favorites and my daughter is going to dance at her 15 anniversary, or "Quinceanera" like her main "VALS" THANK YOU JOHN MAYALL for this marvelous song"
