i lived and worked in this place back in the 80s. it was an experience for sure. definatly haunted, but i got used to that after a while. jan or julie, if your still around drop me a wire. good times
i once accepted a job at this dump. arrived at 10am to work in the bar only to be greeted by the landlady's daughter who said she was in bed. i should have done one then, but i thought id see it thru. after an hour into the shift i was asked to take her daughter to school (6miles away) in my own car. needless to say i never returned. ps the food is crap. the place is haunted though - full of headless pints.
we took my dog up there once in the fells he loed but i woud not go in pub i didnt dare i have heard of the rumors n appartly aswell some one was walking on the fell n he sufficated wi no marks or nothing n nothing wrond with but i will not go in the pub wat so evevr
I stayed in room 3 this weekend, first time I've slept with the light on since I was 10yrs old!

i stopped there after a night in the pub, i woke covered in a brown smelly substance. the landlord banned me because he said it was shit

I have stayed there 3 or 4 times & always in room 4 (haunted room) each time I wake up a 3am. Excellent!!
