about 80000 dolars per rocket, about 120000 per CLU, i love javelin but dont have enought money ;) but army have enought money for play with javelin ;)
some tanks cost less than javelin rokcet ;)
antz007x no launch command unit but command launch unit (CLU) (this is writed in javelin manual)
Of topic, how large is a ‘TROOP” and a “SQUADRON” (like is the troop a company and a squadron a battalion)? I was looking @ the NZ army’s Orbat & was just wondering.
Kiwi's are walking tanks themselves. I never meet a a Kiwi looking under 90kgs. The M1A3 Kiwi. Maximum speed; 20km/hr. Firepower; up to 10 anti-tank rocks. Armour; more then 1 foot thick of dense meat and bone.
@BonesTheCat Kiwis have no budget. Most Kiwis are serving in UK Paras and Rifles...mostly in Afganistan. Brits grab Kiwis as they are superb squaddies. Never give up, never stop, never everything...Kiwis are welcome in British Army...no explanation..just recognised as the Best !
Wessex43, I made an appearance in the kiwi terri's when I was younger. I had to wear pants that were 3 sizes too big till I got kitted out. My only regret in life was not following thru on an army career. The power of the pussy got me. Fucken women. lol I would've been about 25 when the Afghan theatre opened and would've joined the Au army to get the gear. Fucken women. lol
cant wait till we get some archers, they are a gunnery cannon made in switzerland, i know this is off subject, but if you think thats good wait till you see an archer, it can fire 20 shells a minute, with amazing accuracy, not to mention it can be operated by 1 person who is safley located in the archers' armoured truck, thank god im training in gunnery=DDDDDD
There's no plans for NZDF to acquire any ARCHER Artillery systems. Unfortunately I don't see much in future development in the NZ artillery units as 105 L119's are sufficient for all purposes needed now and the foreseeable future. Also remember artillery haven't been deployed since Vietnam war.
00:10 This missile is just beautiful man. I ike how it is first ejected from a safe distance and then taps into the fuel needed to travel to the target.
Well there goes half the military budget lol

Archer is a Swedish Self-propelled artillery gun. 20 rounds a minute? It can only fire 8-9 rounds a minute. Training? Doesn't sound like it.
