you see how there is yellow ball and white ball? one of those are given to you as a cue ball, and you are trying to hit opponent's cue ball and red ball in one shot, there are other variations like 3-cushion, and this means you have to hit at least 3 cushions between hitting the first ball and the second ball.

You play the entire game shooting with the same cue ball (either white or yellow) Let's say you are shooting with the white cue ball. To score a point, your cue ball must: 1) hit both the object ball and the other (yellow) cue ball 2) contact 3 rails before you hit the final ball R = Rail B = Ball (red ball, other cue ball) Examples of legal shots: B-R-R-R-B R-B-R-R-B R-R-R-B-B R-R-B-R-B Notice that each shot contacts (at least) 3 rails, and hits a ball last?

Hard to compare with snooker. Both take much practice to be able to score a couple of times in a row :D. And pool is a game which everyone can play. It's like comparing scientific mathematics to primary school maths.

Yes & no. Pool, 3 C and snooker each has its own challenges. For most pool players, 3C is difficult. But then for most 3C players, pool is a more challenging, entertaining game. I play both 3C and pool. I have a 9ft table that I can play both games. To really play 3C, I need simonis 300 carom cloth on my table and that could screw up my pool games. To compromise, I use simonis760 and play the 3ball french billiard instead of the 3C. It's basically the same except 4 the 3C requirements.

eaglesnoflock, I'm just curious why would this simonis 300 cloth screw up your pool game. I never realized there was any difference between the cloth on a carom and the cloth on a pool table.

There's a lot of difference, the ball runs on the carom a lot smoother, and because it's heatened, it also runs a lot further.

It's 3 cushion billiards. Each player has their own cue ball (one yellow and one white). The object is to have your cue ball hit either the red or the other cue ball and then hit at least 3 rails before making contact with the other ball. If you do that, then you get a point. There are other ways to get points, like hitting at least 3 rails and then hitting the 2 other balls, but you get the general idea of the game.

I think Blomdahl was the best in the world, but no longer by now. Of cuourse he plays great, and of course he´s better than Sayginer, but no better than Caudron or Dany Sánchez. He is not the same player than he was 10 years ago

semih has problems with turkish billard federation federation doesn`t allow to participate.ı don`t know what happened he said that ı will take a break my career for a short time.but in fact,he wants.he said that portugal and belgium offered me but ı didn`t accept ı only participate for my own country so,yes because he isn`t in championships,he can,t be in top 10 but without doubt,if he do,he will be in top 10 he is the best in the world for me....and ı am sure for most people,too
