This is a very possible shot ,the thing with a snub nose is yes ,any bullet can make the distance ,but with such a short barrel after about 30 yards the bullet wobbles,no matter how good you are,you can't change physics ,he made the shot ,but I wonder how maybe times he said "cut!redo!"

Nice work by Bob. For those saying that this is an impossible shot: I've seen some Russian soldiers hit targets out to 500+ meters with the old 7.62x39mm AKM made in 1959. And there are thousands of people claiming that this is impossible. Well Bob Munden and those Russian soldiers prove that in order to hit targets its not just the weapon. Its the shooter. And if YOU can hit targets at that range, doesn't mean its impossible. Its just YOU need to learn long-range shooting.

Once you know where to hold that front sight, you can hit the target all day long with no wind and consistent ammo.

@twodogs199 Theres no such thing as a bullet that travels straight. As soon as a bullet leaves the muzzle of a gun it yes, travels straight for a short while. Then the spin on it causes it to rises, creating a small arc. Then gravity sets in and it begins to fall. You can observe examples of this shooting deer rifles at distances of around 200-300yards with a telescopic sight.

@Describingthelost I beg to differ with you. Gravity works all the time pulling the bullet down. The upward rise you refer to is the purposeful compensation to hit an aimed target. At longer ranges, you actually have the bullet arcing down onto a target. The spin you refer to is to stabilize the bullet in a true course much like a football (American) is thrown with spin to increase the accuracy and distance instead of wobbling in an unpredictable path through the air. I was a rifleman once.

@LordRobere I know and understand fully what you're saying. Yes the bullet is under the constant pull of gravity but, I am not talking about the shooters compensation of the path of the bullet. The bullet does in fact arc midflight due to the incredible spin on it. It travels straight outward for a short while then heads upward. Reaches the top of the arc then falls. I believe it's because the speed/spin of the bullet creates a small bit of lift.
