@topppps Week 8 against the second year expansion team Carolina Panthers. The score was 19-7. Carolina made a comeback at the second half and 1 sack to New Orleans Saints quarterback at the time. Saints have a bye week as well as San Francisco, Carolina, Atlanta, and St. Louis at the time. The Saints went to a 3-13 record that year and Mora quit the team on November 5th I believe.

Jim Mora wasn't a bad coach at all.

He helped the Saints go 4 playoff apeareances in the 4 Seasons, and helped build the most fearce Linebacking Corp in the NFL of all time; The Dome Patrol.

He lost all of those playoff games because he didn't have an offense.

Then, he helped build the Colts into playoffs contenders with Peyton Manning.

It took 20 years for them to achieve their first winning season--they made the modern-day Pittsburgh Pirates look like an all-time dynasty.
